Oh, that'd be cool. Then we could get together once every 6-months or so.

Default octane

You could pay over $4.50 /gal for 100 octane race gas at some 76 gas stations. I know they sell it in vegas and phoenix.

No jobs there. Besides, it's not like I am packing up to move today. I am just trying to leave the birthplace of our country. I don't care were I go, just west of here. Can't afford to live out here.

Albuquerque is so depressing. I wouldn't live there if you paid me.
It's so run down looking.

Best things about Albuquerque-
1.For the most part the police are push overs.
2.Motorcycles are cheaper there than hear.
3.DMP if you have a mustang.
4.You can get a hooker and a super sonic chessburger#2 at the same time.
5.My mom is the finance manger at Garcia Subaru.
6.Whata burger.

Worst things about Albuquerque-
1.Not enough asian women for my taste.
2.Every thing not on the list.
3.-100. My mom lives there!

Yes, Albuquerque has suck.

There are alot of women here, and alot of attractive ones at that.
Aside from that, I can't really defend much. Ergo why I'm moving once I graduate.

Default ABQ not totally suck

I moved here from ...ahem, Oklahoma... so I guess I moved up in quality? I like the mountains and hiking here. But yes the desert is depressing. It feels like living on an island of green in the middle of dirt. However, its almost as cheap as where I moved from. It is extremely high tech...and I work at an extremely high tech job. Good stepping stone for me.

Anyone else here in Duke city?

I live in ABQ also. Where did you find 92 octane MattSEG? I only find 91, and sometimes 90. Of course the rice gas is available at the station downtown.

Hey Jeremy...think I saw you at UNM a few days ago. Lost your number, but all of the 'cool' albq people need to get together one of these days...next saturday evening at Kelly's maybe...?

Can't remember where I've seen 92, pretty sure I have though, 80% sure...

I'll pay more attention to that when I get around to getting a bigger turbo, injectors and whatnot.

As far as jobs go Intel is paying interns 23 bones an hour, which is pretty damn nice.

Good company to work for and an internship is a good way to get a foot in the door.

I guess you're saying you saw me, cuz I don't park my car at UNM. Sorry, I'm trying to place you if I know you.

Are you on the www.nmautoscene.com message board?

The ABQ MR2 club is having a rally this saturday morning and other people are welcome too. We already have a couple motorcyles, one WRX and probably some other non-MR2s coming. If you or anyone else wants to join in we're meetin sat. the 14th at 9am at Tramway/Central. We're driving to the top of the crest and back down.

I wouldn't mind meeting up for a drink, but this sat. night doesn't work for me. Come to the peak drive and we'll figure something out.

On another note, we might be buying a WRX for my wife. She likes the wagons. Any pointers while I'm looking, anyone?

You might not be who I'm thinking you are, big fellow with a labret?

I would like to participate in your run, not sure if I will be running then, my clutch just croaked, so hopefully I'll be running by this weekend.

Are you doing your clutch yourself? If you do, I'd like to come by when you have it all apart and take a look.

So it wasn't my clutch, though that needed replacement and was replaced (garcia subaru, cause trannies scare me) turned out to be the centre viscous coupling, which should be fixed friday.

I have work at 6 or so saturday, so I should be able to make it, God willing....I'll e-mail you my number too, I remember having yours but my old phone broke...

BTW.....
So broken car parts are:
Rear diff
Front right speaker
2nd gear (replaced with chalak synchro box)
centre diff
clutch (was mostly gone)
2 turbo oil lines

..........Think I got a Lemon?

r160 (guessing thats the rear diff)
I think that had to do with when my car got macked, doglegged on the rear wheel to be more exact, that I'm sure messed something up. Could have something to do with the center diff as well.
Not saying I've never slid/drifted the car, but I don't have the skills/tire money/ or place to do sick diff abusing slides.
