GanzFlow Cold air intake...should i get it?
I live in Seattle and it rains here. Will it be safe to buy a Cold-air intake. What do you suggest is the best? How much is it? Where can I order it? please give me some info. I can't really find lots of stuff for my impreza 2.5 RS. Need help

Ray - PM'd you with a list of Subaru vendors online. (I will when I send this anyway.)
Get the Ganzflow. It's the best bang for the buck intake out there, short of the Home Depot intake I'm running. And it looks awesome. |

Don't worry about ingesting water with the Ganzflow or for that matter any of the THREE true cold air intakes on the market today. The Ganzflow which you mentioned, Cobb Tuning, and PDM Racing's are all true cold air intakes. All 3 of these don't actually stick the filter down in the very bottom front of the fender so there's no fear of water soaking the filter.

Ha ha. I just spent twenty minutes typing out (sut&paste) my favorites.. just the Subaru links. Yikes.
Yeah don't worry about water. The air goes in under the turn signal, up to the top of the fender, down a long pipe, then through the filter. No problems. |

I've had my Ganzflow for a few months already. Even through puddles and what not, it's fine.

do a search dude and you will see tons of positive feed back on the ganzflow CAI. i purchased from him and he helped me with the install
