As for the injectors, I got them from www.teaguesauto.com. I would have bought them from another dealer but they were in VERY short supply at the time. You should be able to snag them from just about anywhere on the net (www.vividracing.com or www.altasports.net). The VF30 was bought from www.spimotorsports.com in Cali. This unit might be for sale in the spring to make way for a new custom turbo kit with either a T3/T4 or a Turbonetics T60-1 hifi. |

Scoobie, Go for the Garret T4 as an upgrade over the T60. By the time the T60 comes on hard you are too far down the track. Your holeshot won't be as good no matter what your trims are. Your 60ft will suffer. Now if you are adding LSDs, F & R & C, then go T60. Drop me a line when you're ridding yourself of the VF30. I have an SR that my need it for GTS class next year at Indy.
UTEC Huh? That'll be interesting. I gotta stick w/ Motec. Too bad we're on different ends of the racing spectrum. Look fwd to seeing you at the strip. Good luck my friend. |

Ya, there are already some kits available with the T3/T4 setup but I've got a friend who swears the T-60 is the perfect turbo for a 2.0L
I guess we'll see what happens over the winter. I plan on parking the car for most of it to rip out a few things like seats, exhaust, etc. |

ScoobieSnax,
Nice to hear that your suby will become a MONSTER!! Mine is going in this Friday for the swap...Kind of nervous ...SGP racing is doing it for me.. www.sgpracing.com Either they will do the tuning after or another Tuning shop called Texas Performance Innovations(TPI). He mainly works on project cars(he closed his doors to the public for a good while due too an over flow of customers) He knows his stuff and has made some crazy fast cars. I believe, he uses Dumbturbo as his nick, dont let the name fool you, he is ASE certified and im sure he has a lot of answers!! Lots of TURBO here!! September 28, there is a Huge Import Expo at the New Reliant Stadium, Home of the HOUSTON TEXANS (NFL). Hope for my car to be ready by then... See ya soon Peace out, Fengshui |
