Waaah! I got black flagged!
And on the last lap too! Man! I had an opening on the last lap right at the hair pin turn but I drifted right into Ernest(the guy with the blond pony tail, sometimes mistaken for Karen with their helmets on ) which got me the black flag! Isn't Black Flag a roach killer?
Anyway, Ernest had a half lap lead on me since I got caught in traffic! S L O W L Y but surely I was gaining on him......until the final lap I bumped him. Oops! Sorry Ernest! Ah well.....I had no idea I had such a fast lap. Anyone beat my time? BTW, I had a great time! Wooohooo! Me and Aaron are now official roach killers! Fear us, you roaches! We are the Black Flag crew!

Joe,
I told you that you would be very happy when you looked at the time screen!!! Nice job!! I am guessing that next qualifying it will take a time in the high to mid 20 second range to qualify for the quick group. I think that at least 5 people in the final race dropped into the 20s range. Things are heating up already. I had a huge smile on for the entire 50 lapper. See you next time. AaronRS |

Yeah, I was around 20.7xx
I hated my cart for the main race, though. Just looking at my time sheet. Yuck. My times were all over the place. I knew something was wrong at about half-way through the race. Finally, Lee and Aaron got the chance they needed to get by me and it was all over. I watched them down the straight, pulling away from me like I was driving a kiddie-kart. In the straight! I thought I could hold you guys back for another 40 laps and take second but that was wishful thinking. First qualifying round was the most fun for me. That was a BLAST! Lee and I duked it out for 16 laps, I think, almost without touching eachothers karts. But in the end, the Lee-meister always prevails. And the Rossinator too. Wasnt Ross kicking butt in the #1 car during the first league session? Hmmm... Good racing, guys! [This message has been edited by BugBomb (edited October 26, 2000).] |

Very good racing last night. We have to do something about Ross. He is going to runaway with the championship at this rate. I think some strategic blocking will have to come into play so that someone else wins.
Mike, you just don't seem to have the luck with getting a good kart for the race. It was a good duel during qualifying. Too bad that wasn't the race for us. Until next time. Lee |

I actually had a good kart during the first 50-lap session 2 weeks ago. I just made a lot of stoopid mistakes to lose my position.

It really is a blast. Mark and I were shooting it out for the whole race basically, then lap traffic (in reverse, us being lapped) put me behind and I never had another opportunity to get close enough to pass. My start went very well, but the wall incident that drew the black flag on Matt put me down a few slots on the first lap. But Lee did thank me for just letting him by.
