Default What direction to go with a tune?

I currently have a 2017 STI and I am running the Stage 1 OTS map off the Accessport. I also have the cobb intake and I'm waiting for them to release their Stage 1 + OTS map to use that. That being said, would doing a dyno tune be worth it since its really basic mods, or possibly even an E-tune. The only other mod I have is just a nameless axle back and I plan on just running the Cobb intake for a long period of time. Would I be okay with just using the Stage 1 + OTS map when it's released, or would it be worth to get another tune from either a dyno tune or e-tune?

Thank you for the help.

Any tune specific to your car is worth it IMO. As per dyno tuning versus e tuning, I'd recommend a dyno tune from a REPUTABLE tuner, but if none are in your area e tuning is not a bad route to go. Eric from Torqued Performance seems to get a lot of love on here.

custom dyno tune>etune>OTS tune>no tune (all else equal). that being said, you might want to get the accessport, flash to stage 1 and monitor things for a while. watch your timing and knock feedback etc, and if everything checks out, you could let it ride. if it starts to give you problems, take it in for a custom tune.

Ditch intake run stg 1 OTS for EJ motor. IMO $500 for an extra 10hp is not worth it. I'd say have someone tweet your OTS via ATR buuuuuuuuut ya can't.

*approx $500 could be more could be less for pro tune. $250 for e tunes strikes same cord for me. Pass
