Before I bought my Subaru, I had a pos vw, The rims were a dingy black so I dipped em, they lasted for a long time even through weekly car washes. and it looked very good. I will admit that I did curb the car and tore it off though

Just did it today but looked it up before I did it. Wicked durable I guess. Has a thick rubber feeling and does peel off easily when you want it to. Judging by the way it feels I would imagine literally a year or more unless you physically peel it off yourself.

I like the plasti-dipped bottom sections going around the car. However, I am not a big fan of the plasti-dipped hood scope. This is my opinion, but looks pretty good overall.

My friend got a crashed STi dirt cheap, got new panels for it from various different cars and didn't have enough money to get it painted right away. It turned out pretty good considering he only spent $70 on it. Gonna do a final spray on it still but here's a pic I took of our cars

Not my style either, but looks to be pretty well executed.
Also, try making this thread in the Interior/Exterior Modifcations thread instead! |

I'm thinking about Plastidipping my wheels white.
If I get tired of it, I can peel it off. |

Not sure why you purposely made it look like you got an unpainted hood-scoop and can't afford to get it painted, but ok.

i painted the scoop because it was peeling really bad only half the paint was left so instead of trying to match the blue exactly i just tried the plastidip and i think it looks pretty good

I did plastidip my grill with blue plastidip and my chargespeed side skirts blue as a temporary fix until I get it painted just to protect it. It comes clean off of smooth surfaces, rims it does NOT, the heat from the brakes or just driving/baking combined with road debris makes it impossible. Don't do it unless you hate the rims

Those seem like good points but in most videos that I watch it comes right off.
There also is a video of somebody taking it off Enkei RPF1's and it doesn't come off as well. |
