Replacement HID ballast
Can anyone recommend where Ican buy new HID ballasts (Phillips or Hella) online? I have looked though old postings for a specific website that I can no longer find...

If they are OEM type ballasts with standard D2 connectors, there are always plenty on Ebay. If they're modified and were originally part of a conversion kit, it may be more difficult to find replacements due to the different electrical connectors used by various mfrs.

You can buy new oem Phillips or Hella at www.hidplanet.com thats where i've purchased my set before I ended up selling them =)
I ended up with OEM Subaru ballasts afterwards.. go on Ebay if you have to.. |

Check your HID bulb connections. If theyre those generic round ones, you can pretty much use most of the no-name ballasts. Check ebay pics to be sure what you're buying.

the subaru sti ballasts are the same as the nissan Mitsu****a ballasts. just an fyi when you go look for them. bc the nissan/inifiti ballasts are readiliy available

Thanks Jezzy... It was HIDplanet... it was the forum section that messed me up, at first, as i thought i was on a HID "help" site vs a sales site....
