Default FS CT Carputer

Carputer is sold! Please close the thread please

I think it's about time to part ways with it. Being able to drive to work is more important than surfing the internet, burning cd's, and watching movies in the car lol. I'm asking $700 obo and I'll deliver to CT, RI, and Mass. Here are the specs below:

Case: Morex 3688; black
Mainboard: VIA EPIA M10000 1GHz Mini-ITX mainboard
Processor: Onboard VIA processor

CD/DVD Drive: Panasonic CD-RW/DVD Slimline
Hard Disk Drive: Samsung 5400RPM 80GB 2.5" notebook
HDD Expansion None
Front Access 2 USB 2.0
Power Supply Automotive Power Supply
Operating System: Windows XP Home SP2
Dimensions
(w x h x d) 210 mm x 65 mm x 275 mm
8.3" x 2.6" x 10.8"
GPS: i.Trek S3 USB GPS iTrek-S3-USB
Receiver (V.3.1.1 WAAS)
(SiRF III)
Wireless Networking: D-Link DWL-G650M PC Card

Monitor: Lilliput 619GL-70TV/C/T
Monitor Chassis: CNC machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum Billet. Chassis is CNC punched from 5052-H32 Aluminum sheet metal.

This is a complete system with wiring and everything, the screen fits in any double din slot... WRX and STi owners can just buy the gauge pack and relocate their single din headunit to there. Keyboard fits in the glove box PERFECTLY. There is Velcro underneath the case to prevent it from sliding. It fits perfectly under the passenger seat. Ground cable can be attached to the bolt on the left seat rail in front. Here are some pics:

You cant get a bigger screen to fit in a double din space and scrolling was never a problem for me ... It's not like I write term papers with the thing... It was mostly used for music, movies, gps, and to check nasioc lol.. I changed the DPI, icon size, etc. to view easily. Also, there are ALOT of front ends for carputers. I have a couple one this one. I mostly used Roadrunner. The joystick on the keyboard helped alot too. I used to have a trackball with it too but I ended up running over the wire with the seat rail. Didn't use it much though, the touch screen was enough for it

I have a few front ends for it, I know for a fact I have Microsoft Streets and Trips on it, I had a copy of Delorme but honestly I'm not sure if it's still there or not. It has Nero burning software, Firefox, and avg antivirus.. There's alot of other stuff too but I have to hook it up to my external power supply to check.. I think i deleted all my personal files too like music, vids, and pics but it's easy to put them back on.. Not really sure what everyones taste is in music but it probably isn't mine lol

Sounds decent. I am looking into the funds availability. GPS antenna included?? did you ever run it w/o the keyboard?! Im assuming, by the pics, that you car this off a normal headunit via an aux input?! Thanks again

The GPS Antenna IS INCLUDED. The audio was connected to the back of the head unit via aux input and the screen is connected through VGA, not through RCA or S Video as you would lose alot of quality through them. I've ran it without the keyboard but it comes in handy though, especially when typing in addresses for the GPS software, and hitting that stupid F3 button for a reroute in MS Streets and Trips.
