Awesome numbers! I hope to make the switch in a couple of months.

Where was your peak boost at?

EDIT: Just saw you said boost, not torque. Turbo spools by 3k, just like it always has. Stepped up a hair more around 3,750rpm's in the log I have, but it's very flat from around 3k-5k due to the manual boost controller.

That's perfect, a nice big sweet spot right in the middle with good breath all way to redline. I hope my tuner can produce something close to that. I don't have the same boost control abilities as your setup but, I think I'll upgrade the fueling system first anyway.

Build Thread: xluben's 2011 WRX 5 Door Build Thread: E85 Tune!

Hoping to get a touch up tune once I get the rest of the pump gas out of my tank, and the stations switch to true E85 for summer. Should be a few more ponies left to be had. For anyone considering E85, go for it! You can see the gains I got over a normal Stage 2. Pulls soooo much stronger now, and the power band is great

*Disclaimer: Virtual Dyno on the Dynojet setting reads pretty high. Figure about 330WHP/360WTQ on the Airboy spreadsheets or COBB's Mustang dyno. The car gained 50WHP and 40WTQ over Stage 2 with the E85 tune.

Not having it readily available would be a bit discouraging to me. It's nice being in MN, there are probably a couple hundred of them

MN seems to be where all the big HP E85 cars in Car Craft and Hot Rod magazine are.

Because you guys can get it so easily!

Here? VERY scarce. A station here, a station there.

I take the turnpike to work everyday and pass the station but otherwise there are none. So can you still fill with 93 octane or you have to use E85 all the time?

If you want to take advantage of the E85, then you definitely can't put pump gas in or you'll be in big trouble.

Yep, go big or go home

It's a good way to make power if you have it available. If not, you just gotta spend more to get the HP

Yes, but no E85 for no snow is a decent trade.

$1k for the install of the new parts I already have. Six more things to put on. And no, I'm not going to try to do it myself. I do not know anyone who is familiar with subarus to help.

I always loved the STI but never pulled the trigger until now. Snow or no snow, I love this car.

Lol. Come on down!!! I got lower quotes from other places but it would be a two hour drive, so not really worth it. We will see.

Okay enough of me on your thread, more of your car!!!!

I'll be in Florida in April!

I don't think my wife would appreciate me choosing to fill our last free day with anything car related though. Haha.
