Do you have a bellmouth DP?

My STI actually creeps a bit on Cobb stage 2. I hit 19.2 psi in third.

Also the factory lamco boost gauges in the STI's should be pretty accurate. Mine is usually on with the data logs. The only problem is they are in bar not psi.

Andy how often do you change your oil after running events and what not. Just go to the standard 3000 mark or do you change before that.

Yeah, I'd say the same thing. Its not like we were running the cars super hard for a long time. 3000 on synthetic is probably a little early, but better safe than sorry and its only a few bucks. Good piece of mind.

Mike when we were getting on the interstate after leaving the track did you get on it pretty good? It seemed like I couldn't leave you in the dust....

Yea i got on it, you definetly pulled on me right away because I had to brake check because you didn't take off as soon as I thought you were so I f'ed up second gear but you pulled real good i'm not sure I would have caught you if we kept going.

I think our thread died. andy if you ever get a chance think we could try an alignment on my car. my steering wheel is a bit off plus you said the stock ones suck anyways which is made obvious by the odd wear on my tires. plus i owe you for the brake fluid still.

Alright guys I have the STI engine being dropped off at my house tomorrow so I will soon be making a swap thread in case anyone is interested. I'll you posted.

I can tell you right now that working on this Subaru is a million times easier than the Mazdaspeed Protege I had!! I haven't swore, thrown a tool, busted my knuckles, or anything and the engine is half out already and the entire front end of the car is off! So far I'm loving it!

Motivation is the key to getting things done quickly and sadly I just am to busy enjoying the warm weather outside to work in my garage right now. I think having an engine staring at me though will motivate me to go out and finish...

Wow what a night. 44 in attendance at Taco Tuesday which is another record. People from Point, Rapids, and Marshfield.

Lots of matchups afterwards also.

anyone have good suggestions for looking for an oil leak. I'm gonna get the honda back up to good condition now that it appears gas prices are going up again.

I think its coming from the oil pan gasket? But I don't wnat to take it off replace it and then that not be the problem.

I planned on cleaning everything up around the oil pan then starting the car for a quick drive then jacking it up again and looking.

Any other suggestions?
