In my opinion the Impreza has a better exterior but that Legacy interior was interchangeable with no mods needed, I'd so be on that. The 2 things I'd only really swap out are the door panels and the dials. And maybe the seats...definitely the seats.....going to look into the seats.....yeah the seats...

To sum up the discussions question, Has your Impreza ever disappointed you (if not initially) then down the road somewhere?

I haven't been disappointed by my impreza. putt putt around is comfortable and i feel the power is sufficient for it. Long distance trips are manageable due to heated seats, which relieve any back pains you might get from the trip.

How I see things might be different compared to most Impreza owners. I think in order to move towards a WRX/STI or even a Legacy GT for that fact you have to learn how the car works / maneuvers. If you don't know how to control a lower hp car then you sure as hell wouldn't be able to handle a higher hp car with stiffer/better suspension.
