So I finally brought my car into a mechanic friend and got it on the lift to check out my clunky swaybar issues. 3/4 bushings are loose and need replacing, my 2 front endlinks are completely **** and one of my wheel studs broke off because the place that put on my tires tightened the lug nut way to ****ing much.

Anyone know a good place to get these for cheap? (Keep in mind they are larger Rallitek swaybars).

And I finally saw my frame and the scraping it took the last 2 years haha.

I would say if you are not looking to add spacers for wheels the stock studs would be just fine. I work at a tire/mechanical shop and we use studs that are from auto part stores, and they are not inferior to stock. Some of them are better quality. Bushings? rallysportdirect.com!!! oh and make sure they use anti-seize on them damn studs!!!

IMHO

How do you got about replacing the studs? I want to get some 10 or 15mm ISC or Grapple wheel spacers but am hesitant to spend over $150 on good spacers and have my studs give out. Are they expensive?

Finally going to buy some dedicated snow tires. Probably get them mounted within the next two weeks.

Same. I'm done with all season. Just gonna start switching tires on my stock wheels until I save enough for a summer and winter set-up.

I'll be buying new wheels and summer tires for next season.

What winter tires are you getting? The weather here was 85° yesterday and a high of 55° today. Not trying to ride them in warm weather but it is basically October already.

All it takes is some strength and a good sledge to hit them out. Spray them with PB or wd40. Let them sit then hit them out. They are just a press fitting. If you get some extended studs, they will probably screw in first. Anti size them and good to go!

An old convertible RX-7? Wow that's an odd choice.

Is that a modified stock grille or is that a WRX/sport grille? It looks good!

Thank god the whip didn't get damaged! [IMG]

Edit: This is about 4 hours after the initial hail storm. Still solid ice. 52 degrees in Colorado. Getting stoked for winter

Get the wheel studs from your dealership (they're fairly cheap). As others have said, they are pressed in so just knock it out with a hammer. Use the washer method to pull the new wheelstud all the way flush with the hub.

+1 for rallysportdirect.

Holy mother of scrape. I would spray some undercoating overthat before winter starts hah

My friend (the mechanic with a lift) and I will be doing the stud and replacing swaybar and endlinks stuff soon.

That scrap-age has gone through 2 winters so far with no problem haha barely any rust yet. I miss scraping :'(

Just to clarify, I've forgot if they do or not, 2009 WRX coilovers will fit a 2010 impreza correct? Thinking of getting some BC racing coils beginning of next year.

It will look like any other Subaru with mud flaps. Browse this thread or Google it.

Hatch or sedan? This is what my hatch looks like with V2 rally armor flaps on. Just don't hit a curb when backing your car in. I learned the hard way, ripped one flap off. [IMG]

I left the stock mud guards on.. So this is what it'll look like if you have those and leave them on.. It took some custom work- just drilling extra holes in flaps and hardware.

Stock suspension. 17x8 wheels.
