Default 305 Whp 335 Wtq Vf-39 ( Now with dyno sheet!!!!)

Just got back from the dyno and I made pretty good numbers for a VF-39 on 93 with 9.1:1 CR.

http://s131.photobucket.com/albums/p288/hjcarnell_af/Subie%20build/?action=view&current=SDV_0021.flv

I know that this thing is gonna be a monster on E85. But for know I am all smiles and this is conservative with fuel and timing.

305 WHP
335 WTQ

Mustang dyno at sea level

Oh I forgot the mod list

- Hydra EMS w/ wideband
-Wiseco Pistons, eagle rods & ACL race bearing
- Kelford 264 cams, supertech valves and valve springs
-TGV deletes
- Perrin fuel rails
- RC 1200cc injectors
- Walbro 255 FP
- Grimmspeed PnP exhaust manifolds with 44mm EWG up-pipe
- Perrin electronic boost control solenoid
- Aeromotive A1000 fuel pressure regulator'
- Turbo XS front mount intercooler w/ SRI
- Samco turbo inlet

I know you are all thinking damn all that and look at those numbers. This is not the end of the road for the car, I just ran out of funds and wanted to drive it again. Once the funds for the PPGs and clutch show up it will be a WHOLE NEW BALL GAME. I think E85 will bring some very surprising numbers for the little VF-39 as well.

Your mod list seems to be a little overboard for a VF39, which makes sense since you said your not done building the car

Looks like so much fun though!

With your mods, aside from the tranny, it looks like you're prepared for almost anything in the future. Does having such monster sized injectors have any bad side effects with such a small turbo? What's your max IDC now, like 30%?

lol with thoughs numbers he's gotta be at like 17psi, 30% is right!!

good luck in the future though. with that motor, E85 and PPG tranny some people have been over 400tq with VF's

throw a DOM 3 xtr on later and see over 400/400

Looks like a lot of fun, who did the tuning?

Can't wait to see the numbers once you get tuned on e85!

I'm running 21psi tapering to 13psi. I can't get my scanner to work to post the dyno sheet. I believe my injector duty cycle is like 27% at 40 psi of fuel pressure. I haven't had any problems with the injectors as far as idling or anything. I can't wait to see the numbers on E85 but I need the PPG's b/c I'm pretty sure I will be well over 400 tq with it and the stock on will explode.

All the tuning was done by Collin @ The Show Zone he is a master with the Hydra.

wow now i am confused why such low numbers. 21 psi and 9.1.1? and dropping to 13psi doesnt seem right. if you really are hitting 21psi then the 39 is maxed. E85 is gonna add HP and TQ but no where near your set up could handle.

what turbo back are you running?

your wasting your money messing with this 39. with that arsanal of mods. get a nice 20g or green. and then throw 85 at that and watch your socks blow off your feet

Well like I said it is conservative on fuel and timing. I know the 39 is probably maxed and I would just do the E85 on it for kicks. I plan on running a DOM 3 XT-R once I get the PPGs. But for now I am fine with the way the car runs. I am hoping that I can get the money for PPGs sometime by late summer then the numbers will def. be way higher.

you should also rethink the ppg setup too. because with a dom 3 xtr they probably will do the job but if you drive it hard the likely hood of that box going boom is very likely. if i were you i would get a nice low milage 6speed sti box and if you really want some long leg gears get the 07 and up sti box. i just think ppg's are over rated. but the sound is pretty cool. just my .02. i have been in a dom 3 wrx with ppgs and it was nice, annoying, friend ot a sti box and there was no looking back.gl

Over a 50whp drop from 58000-6900rpm and a 145wtq drop from 4800-6900rpm.
