Cool Possible new SVX in the works?

What's up guys! I own an Impreza RS 2.5 but I've always been a fan of the SVX. I posted this in the General Forum but I guess I should have posted it here. I was reading that the SVX might be making a comeback as a Audi TT fighter. I hope it's true.

Talking

Well, lets hope that Subaru get their act in gear (gear...gearbox...joke!!! :-) )and bring back the unique styling of the SVX with one kick-ass piece of machinery.

Audi TT....they make me sick (yes, my opinion) and we need the SVX-R to come and kick some Skyline ass.

Use the twin turbo technology and Tiptronic from the Legacy RSK B4......give the SOB 260kW (Nissan and Toyota are ignoring the domestic maximum of 208kw!!!! from now on!)....and lets go hunt down some WRX's!

No one will be able to comment on whether an SVX looks good for the simple reason that they won't even be able to see what direction we want!!!

Yeeehhhhaaaa!

Jamsvx

Note: day of final exams...I am not thinking straight....ignore the above pipe dream!

The Impreza is more likely to compete against the TT than the SVX.
I am no fan of the TT either; it's a New Beetle with a chopped roof. And the high roof was the only good thing about the new Beetle.

Now if someone wants to swap thier Audi S-8 for my SVX, we can talk. I'll even throw in a full tank of gasoline.

Angry

One day in the future (the farrrr future) I'll understand why an SVX owner/enthusiast would ever consider replacing/swapping/etc. their SVX for an AUDI!

No, don't try to explain it to me - I really don't "get it"

Cool

Audi S8 is the only Audi I would give up the SVX for. AWD, 360hp, 420Nm of torque, and room for 5 passengers (4 if they are typical Yanks )
Not particularly good looking, but after trying to follow an A8 through the curves and sweepers, I know what a Prelude owner feels like when trying to keep up with my SVX.

On the other hand, for the cost of a tuneup on an S8 I could triple-turbocharge the SVX and put in a WRX derived drivetrain.
