No, but it rains a lot all the way through mid-September, then fall is here and winter.

May and June are the most Summer-like months. Years ago you could enjoy summer from about mid-April through the first week of July.

I hear ya man. Been seeing photo's my dad has sent of them down in FL, and recently saw a few pics from my friend who moved to the VI. Sun, sand, ocean.... more appealing then this damn rain/white stuff/chill.

Nothing but rain here in the lower anchorage. To anyone going "oh dang I just took my studded tires off!" you need to man up. We got a ton of reality shows about how tough we are in alaska. A few little snow flakes are no cause for alarm.

But I agree with nomad. Time for a warmer climate.

Oh I dunno about that. I grew up in Maine and I can remember a few snow storms in late May. My sister still lives there and she said it was snowing yesterday.
