Post '01 rs head unit wiring harness

Is there anyone out there that sells a wiring harness that will justhook up to a Sony explode and the factory harness or will I have to solder?

You have to buy the adapter that plugs into the subaru connector, crimp or soldier the wires to the plug from your Xplod, then plug it in. Pretty easy to do, the wires are all color coded and you can do it outside the car.

I got a adapter from Crutchfield when I put it in my Jeep and that one just plugs into the Sony's harness and then you solder or crimp the wires together, like you were talking about, I was just hoping I wouldn't have to cut the either of the harnesses off.
