Does anyone happen to know the wattage for the bulbs in the Impreza?

High beams - Wattage?
Low beams - Wattage?
Foglights - Wattage?

Saw the post but the pic doesn't work. Have you taken the fuse panel off to see where it's hanging from? I don't have anything hanging on mine.

Hey guys, is anyone having an issue with the fabric seats de-threading on the sport premium? I just noticed what I thought was dirt on the drivers seat but there were a bunch of threads poking out. I never had a problem in a car like this before. My car has all of 865 miles on it. Can't imagine what the seats will look like after 100k? Is this something that warranty should/would fix? Seems like even if the seats were replaced it would still be a problem. I'm pretty dang gentle on my vehicles so this is kind of amazing to see.

P.S. I saw Back to the Future III in Germany, and was able to figure it all out even though my German was spotty.

The beer and wurst you can drink and eat while you watch the movie helps, but so does knowing the basic plot, in advance.

Sorry to say, but the two other guys with that problem both had their cars lemoned through their states' lemon laws & have new cars. If they don't expect parts until June or July you may want to look into your state's.

I installed the upgrade Kicker tweeters last night. Sound improvement is huge, listening to 320 AAC files (not as good as lossless files on an ipod, but the best I can play from a USB drive).

This upgrade is a no-brainer if you want decent sound. The stock "tweeter" isn't even really a proper tweeter, just a small cone speaker. There may be better tweeters, but as the Kicker tweeters are plug-n-play, and installation is quick and painless.

I haven't decided whether or not to upgrade the door speakers, due to the work involved, but the tweeters alone give you a huge improvement.

That makes me sad a little. This car is my first brand new and they most likely aren't going to be able to fix it.Guess I'll have that crappy toaster as a rental for another 2 weeks.

Nothing is outside the realm of negotiation. Maybe you can get an amazing deal on a 2013 but i would understand if this leaves a bad taste in your mouth. How many miles are on your vehicle? I have a feeling this problem will become a recall later on.

How far apart are the mounting holes on the tweeters? Do they have an integrated high pass filter?

Get SOA involved now. Document things with them, this can only help you.

It didn't leave a horrible taste,I love Subaru still they just need to stop rushing things .I would for sure buy a 2013 or maybe consider looking at the legacy not sure but it wont be right away when I buy another one.I have some things on my house to finish up, so maybe that's not a bad thing if they do take the car.The car has about 5015 give or take a couple, and its the third time its been taken in for the same problem. In Maryland it states for the lemon law "the vehicle has been "repaired" four or more times for the same problem or the the vehicle has been out of service for atleast 30 days" .I have 24 months or 18,000 miles .So the car has been down there for 14 days and I've owned it this may 28th will be 5 months. It also states I need to report the issue by writing them by certified mail to file a claim .St Eye or JamesWilson2 did either of you guys write subaru or just contacted them by phone?

I was in the process of writing to Subaru as per lemon statutes, but ended up not needing to. I worked things out with a senior representative at SOA. This is why you need to contact them.

Its worth it. I debated between the kicker and door speakers the door speakers were the best bang for the buck i got them for 100 shipped

The mounting holes are about 3 inches apart. The tweeters mount with screws. I suggest a stubby (short) Philips screwdriver for this. You can reuse the screws that came with the stock tweeters, or use the ones that come with the Kicker tweeters.

To access the screws, you pry off the cover. Pry it off the front edge (closest to you). I just used a short, flat-edge screw driver with a thin blade. Insert the blade about 1 inch over from the rounded edge, push forward a bit and lift up about a quarter inch. Hold the corner up in place, then do the same on the other edge (insert screwdriver about an inch from the edge, push forward and lift up. Once the front edge is free, you can lift up the cover, pivoting off the back edge.

As for the high-pass filter, it must have one or the bass frequencies would blow it out. I don't know the crossover point, but based on the sound, I'd say 2K or 3K.

Do you mean you got the tweeters? I'm assuming so, based on the price. If I'm wrong, where did you get the door speakers from for $100?
