Default Where's the FAQ's? Noob questions

I have a few simple questions and I haven't been able to find the answers in any of the following places (I may have overlooked them):

The Tirerack info
Ravensblade info
Impreza Wheel chart
North Ursalia's info
The FAQ's (finally found this... in Suspension and Steering... Wheels and Tires split off from this one?)

1) What is the stock weight of wheel *and* tire for WRX 16" stock rims? I've only found wheel weights, don't tire weights matter too?

2) Same question (weight of wheel and tire), but re: stock 15" steel for '02/'03 TS?

3) Are there any differences between the stock lug nuts for the two wheels above? Just finish (chrome) or any further differences... i.e. will my stock lugnuts on my TS work correctly w/ WRX wheels?

4) Did anyone ever figure out the reason for the change between two different offsets (55mm and 53mm) on stock WRX wheels?

The above places I looked for this info are all VERY helpful, no complaints. Maybe we could create a FAQ specifically for Wheels and Tires, since there seem to be so many repeat questions. Mine probably are repeat questions, but I really did try to find the answers before posting. Thanks.

Steve

1. About 37lbs...21lbs per tire(off Bridgstone's site) 16lbs per wheel.

2. Dunno about the tire...but the WHEELS weigh 19lbs each

3. They should work ok, but you might not like the cosmetics because the lugs show with the WRX wheels. Stock acorns can go for cheap around here.

4. There was a change?

Hope this helps!

Thanks DDMan! Since Tirerack didn't list weights, I didn't consider that Bridgestone's site would, but they do.

The TS's 195/60/R15's are 18lbs. per the Bridgestone site, so:
WRX's 16+21 = TS's 19+18, it's a wash.

I was hoping the the WRX ones would weigh less than the TS ones, but at least they're not heavier, and they're wider.

I think the lugs are the same taper, but wanted to be sure. Looks to be the same.

People have reported both 53mm and 55mm offset on their stock WRX wheels, there were few threads about this when I searched. Seemed like it was related to mfg date, but no one ever came to a resolution on why, at least that I could find.

Anyway, thanks for the help.

Steve
