I would just stick with a K&N Drop in filter.

the magnaflow is great quality and usually looks fairly stock, other than that it's just your opinion. K/N's oiled gauze filters are not so great for filtration and the better flow is not necessary until significantly more power than stock is going to be made. A quality stock replacement type filter is not a restriction. As far as the intake system goes that Apollo system is so completely different than the stock system and has its own MAF housing so a tune will be absolutely necessary if you want to guarantee safe AFR's and gain any HP. dont expect any power to be gained from the exhaust though. Its just for sound and looks.

yes, the exhaust system is fine... i don't have that exact exhaust but I do have an exhaust made for a wrx, and it made a difference with throttle response, and power up top. But i also have an intake and a tune, and in my opinion the tune is the best mod I have done to my car.

The intakes definitely flow more up top. I noticed it when I installed my hybrid intake. It's nothing to write home about, but you can definitely feel it.

No, the OEM filter on your car flows plenty unless you start making 200+hp |

I have consistently measured increased airflow on my car with the hybrid, once the MAF scaling was corrected to read "true". And WTF is that thing in the first post? Some kind of condom for Darth Vadar? |

Oiled filters have a tendency to coat the MAF I world go with an AVO panel filter and any exhaust you like the sound of, you're not making power of any usable level so it really is about the note

that intake will make you run too lean without a tune.

Why don't you just leave it stock? I had a 2.5i before I got a wrx. The 2.5i is slow as s**t and not worth dumping any money in. Keep it quiet and stock. It's just going to be loud and slow now. There is a reason they don't make the AP for the NA cars anymore. The gains are nearly nothing.
