My impression of iSR Performance Autocare Subaru continues to be positive. I think the only real "ding" is that they sometimes get overwhelmed with all the interest (from folks like us) in modifying Subarus these days. Yes, sometimes it takes time to get an email reply, but I understand the situation, and if it's important enough I just pick up the phone and call, no problem. I have made a number of different purchases from them, and it has all been done very properly and professionally. The latest transaction was for a 22B replica wing, which unfortunately arrived at my house with some damage when I opened the box. The folks at iSR were very proper in their response to the situation (side note, I decided to go with the Zero Sports rear wing). Regards, GoodFinder

it's probably true that ISR is a tiny company who thinks BIG.
As a small company they can't afford to have many products instock here is what happened a company who make them products sell to a reseller like ISR it might not even sold directly to ISR.. it's like this a reseller sell it to a reseller sell it to a reseller sell it to a reseller sell it to a reseller sell it to a reseller sell it to a reseller sell it to a reseller sell it to a reseller then to you. i work for a surveilance computer system it's kinda same way.. |

This sounds like how JC Sports did business. Enough people got together and filed a classaction suite against them. I sure hope they read this post as they are losing customers fast. I too was strung along. With enough people and documentation the Better Business Bureau will take legal action.

i have dealt with pam a few times and always had good luck. takes a little time for her to e-mail sometimes but remeber they are also a repair shop, i am sure from the times i have talked to her that her time gets split up between both aftermarket orders and the shop...giver her a call and a couple of e-mails, also remeber this is the holidays and alot of shops close down for them... this is just my 2cents and dealings with them. good luck..

independant.........
As ISR is an agent for MRT Performance it concerns me to read some poor feedback, however it is also good to read the positive sides as well.
My attitude always is to allow people the opportunity to fix their errors, and I have every confidence that PAM and ED will do this. If you have any oncerns re any parts that you need that is via ISR and or MRT, please feel free to contact me direct. I will admit that we are not even perfect and at times we also make mistakes, the improtant point is how fast the mistake is repaired and how its done. ISR sure aint a huge workshop, but they do both own Impreza's and are sure enthusiastic. Evey time I have been there they are keen and doi9ng their best. Merry Xmas Brett MRT Performance |

I know what the problem is.
they are overwhelmed. half the time you cant talk to anyone. they are trying to do a 10 persons work with 5 (example). I also ran into the same problem with the oil feed line kit, said $34, cost $54, but i am happy to be able to get it next week now that it has been almost a month. also had some other problems with them small hiccups really, no big deal, but still annoying. unfortunately at the end the customer suffers. I think its time for them to expand, i mean they do make quite a bit of money from the products they sell us. for instance, i bought a set of DBA gold xdrilled and slotted rotors for 4 pot. I ended up buying them from MRT direct in aus as oppossed to their reccommended "authorized distributor" which was ISR. the price was double for the same part at ISR. the rotors cost me $130 a set from MRT as oppossed to $240 a set from ISR, and even with the $80 dollar fedex overnight shipping from australia to me in CA, i still payed less than ISR before tax (+$20) and shipping (around $15-20) totaling almost $280! i still continue to buy from them if they have something that i can get from no one else at no better price, otherwise i think they will be fine without my business. nothing personal, EJ20WRX EDIT- as individuals they are very nice people. |

ISR is not professional or a good business
Here is just the facts of my dealings with ISR:
October 16,01 I e-mailed Pam about a BPM turbo back exhaust system with the twin tip muffler(TT). She replied, yes, I have those for 1145 shipped. Oct. 17th I mailed a check for 1200 for the exhaust system and a K&N air filter. I knew that my check had to clear so I patiently waited for 4 weeks beforI contacted ISR again. Nov 15th I e-mailed Pam and she replied that the exhausts were in customs and she had a tracking number. Nov 23rd I e-mailed Pam and she replied that she had the exhaust (s) and "had to go through them" Nov 27th ISR advertised on I-club that they had both the BPM 'TT' and 'GT' exhaust systems in stock. Nov 29th thru Dec 3rd I emailed ISR and received no replys. Dec 4 I phoned ISR and Pam said "I will ship it today" Dec 11 I phoned ISR and Pam said "It has been shipped" Dec 14 the exhaust system was delivered. It was the wrong one a 'GT' was delivered and no K&N filter was shipped yet. I called ISR several times and never connected with a real person so I left a message. Dec 15 I e-mailed Pam and received no response. Dec 17th After several phone calls, the phone was answered by some kid that had no clue as what was going on with the business. I told him that if I didn't hear from Pam by 5PM that I would ship the exhaust back and expect a full refund including shipping. Pam called me within an hour and promised to send out the correct 'TT' muffler that afternoon. Dec 18th I got a call from the kid and he said they had no 'TT' mufflers and if I wanted one they would have to order it from BPM in Australlia. I told him to send UPS to pick up the system and send me a refund. Dec 31st I called ISR and couldn't contact a real person so I left a message. So that is where I am. They will not return my e-mails and I am waiting for their return phone call. I have a brand new in the box BPM 'GT' muffler sitting in my garage that I do not want. |

I was not going to reply to this as we are not active on this board any more. Here goes:
Gary501-- You ordered C-west & then cancelled the order, you were not charged for it. Every vendor knows C-west takes a while to come in. The last shipment took 4 months. MotorEx orders the body kits & does not order on a monthly basis. GPH993-- You are right, we sent out the wrong muffler to you & BPM messed up my order & sent no TT's. I am not sure why. I have discussed this through emails & explained why the call tag was now only sent. As far as waiting for parts you have to understand that when we order from a vendor it can take awhile to get. Here is an example: I ordered replica fog light covers & replica hood scoops from MRT in Oct. these are items they have problems getting. Now I am always on my agent to where these parts are without being told much. Dec. comes I am told they are there along with some pedal pads I ordered from them. I had a very large order, paid them, when the order arrived I had no hood scoops, fog light covers or pedal pads. It seems that the pedal pads got shipped to another country & my hood scoops & fog light covers went to another dealer. There was no explanation to this mix up on the parts. So alot of the delivery of parts is out of our control. We can only go by what we are told when we order something. We take full resposibility for not having parts in. It is hard sometimes to know how much to stock. We have made some good changes, which should enable us to answer emails quicker & keep up on orders better. One I am not relying on 1 supplier as they can not supply us. So we should have a steady stream of parts coming in. We do have more help which should make it better to handle all of our business. As far as the oil feed lines, the prices did go up but everyone is told when they order & have the choice to buy the parts or not. I do not get the web site updated as fast as I would like to sometimes. I know I speak for alot of us vendors on here, we really try to do our best for all of you but we won't please everyone. With all the emails & calls that come in, the day can go buy before you know it & you realize you accomplished not much of what you needed to do. We love what we do & most of the time we do our best. We are human & are not perfect & we do not claim to be. We are here in this business to stay & some of you will like us & some won't. Pam & Ed iSr Performance |

For what it's worth, I ordered an STi hood scoop through PayPal 2 weeks ago, and despite multiple emails to Pam still have NO idea about the status of my order. To be fair, Pam has answered most of my emails, but has never answered my questions about whether the item was in stock, when or if it will ship, or ETA.
I realize that 2 weeks is not a long time to wait, but I feel it IS an inordinate time to wait for an answer to the "in stock or shipping" questions. Particularly when they already have your money! You would think that with so much internet competition these vendors would realize that good customer service = return business = more profits. But then again, why pay attention to customer service when fools, like myself, will readily send you money in good faith. Live and learn???:monkey: |

Update on BPM exhaust order
As a courtesy to Pam at ISR, I am posting the details of this continuing saga. After a few e-mails of ISR saying that UPS is
going to pick up the exhaust (and my calling UPS to find that no call tag has been ordered) I finally got rid of it on Jan 8th when UPS really did get a call tag from ISR. During these e-mails about the return of this exhaust, Pam assured me that she would send me a check as soon as UPS picked up the package. Jan. 11th, ISR signed for receipt of the package. Jan. 14th, I e-mailed Pam to find out where my refund is, she wrote back,"I'll mail your check as soon as I get to the shop this morning" So here it is, 3 months later and I have no exhaust or refund check from ISR. For comparison, Mike at Exeter posted that he had BPM exhaust in stock. I ordered it on a Monday and I had it 7 days later. He had to ship it from East coast to West! ISR is located in an adjacent state and it's been 3 months and it still isn't over. The saga continues......... |

Update on STi hood scoop order
Well, here it is Jan 22nd, 11 days after my last post concerning this order and still no hood scoop or any information from Pam about the expected ETA. That makes nearly 4 weeks since the order was placed and the goods payed for without hide nor hair of the product. IMO that's about 3 weeks too long.
I'm going to call today, and cancel my order if scoop is not on the way. I don't know about you others, but this is the last order Pam will get from me. I'm going to see if Mike@Exeter can get me my fix. Rex and I are going into mod withdrawal! |

The story is over.......finally
Yesterday, I received a check from ISR for a full refund of the BPM exhaust system. The only thing that can go wrong now is a notice from their bank.

I'll never deal with ISR again. We called and orderd the lightweight bumper beams, which seams to sell for 153 for both or something along those lines. They only had the front in and wouldnt get the rear until the following thursday (thats all fine) This was a monday I believe. Also ordered a kartboy short shifter. Up to this point no problems. Looked at my bank account online and they had charged close to 400.00 to my account. Including shipping it should had been close to 250.00. Can't remember exacts. Contacted them dealt with very rude people. Told them to cancel the order as their website does not state that it is 150 for each bumper. He said nothing about that. I didnt even get a total when the order was placed. Well 3 weeks later no refund had shown up, and its a credit transfer. So we had to contact our bank which gave us the amount. And then did the work to get it from. Very poorly ran operation.
