i haven't moved the car. i dont want to clogg up last minute motorsports until i have the money to rebuild worst case senario.
compression check wouldn't be that hard though. i could do that at my house. at least check drivers side...#2 but #4 specifically cause on thursday before we ran atco friday, it was oddly at 125 from 150's 6k miles ago.

big up on the build thread ron. some serious dedication.

You drove it to my house the other night. Let's be truthful now and the first question out of my mouth... did you do the compression test yet?

compression is still the same. #2 is 150 #4 is 125. i really am thinkin valvetrain noise at this point. no metal in oil but i'm gonna step the weight up to 15w50 to see if the noise goes away.

replaced a very badly leaking borla header with a stocker. big up stuffo. my throttle response and idle is much happier now.

glad to hear that fixed some of your issues! Now lets get that clutch in and youll be back on the road in no time. I think im gonna start assembling my motor later on this week, chassis is still at the body shop so theres no need to rush anything.

Something put my clutch down for a couple mre weeks. Get me a sprung 6 puck and ill let you beat on her somemore...

Did the valve lash...jodie was dead on, as expected.

Put 50w valvoline in her.
The piston slap has been quieted some, but now im getting a crazy high pitched scream during spool up. Took off the top mount and hammered the tabs back together. Tightened all the clamps on the hoses, but still there. Maybe the spool up sound changed due to putting my oem header back on.
