If you're driving it in the winter why keep the WRX?

If you're not driving it in the winter why not wait and see what's announced in the next year?
I know I'm a negative buzz kill, I'm just jealous because I can barely afford my car. |

I don't agree with this. There are PLENTY of mods out there that have helped to make the bugeye bearable to look at. Don't give up on it! |

Style has never trumped substance. It is all about GO, not SHOW. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This one is puzzled about the turn of events in this thread and wonders why we are at eachother's throats.

It's because Nomad hasn't figured out that I don't care about the Interwebz. haha
Seriously, though, I've ALWAYS poked fun at the bugeye. That'll never change as long as I think people will continue to get defensive about it. However, I've ALWAYS respected the 2.0 and how the bugeye inspired change on every level. I will not, however, EVER consider a stock (or stockish-looking) bugeye to be attractive. This is why they call them, "opinions". It's okay (to most people) if they're contrary. Some people can take criticism better than others, especially without attempting to go below the belt to retort. This is why I miss tribalwrx. He made me laugh. R.I.P. Speaking of which, I do consider the BRZ to be the second-coming of The Bugeye. Stock for stock they perform about the same. Change is good, folks. |

I personally love the bugeye, many of times I've thought about downgrading to one or doing a front end conversion. |

Nothing happened to Mike. Sorry, it was a jesting post. He just isn't around nearly as often to pick on me when I make fun of bugeyes, so I miss him.
Like when I posted, "I hate the bugeye tail lights." He replied, "That's because they're always in front of you." ZING! |

I'm not a big fan of the looks of the impreza between 02-05. But you're right..to each their own - we all have our opinions about what looks good. For example..I don't like Lambos. Yuck. But maybe that's why I've owned nothing but subarus...Not known as being lookers. |

2002 WRX 0-60: 5.6 sec, but SoA says 6.1 sec(http://www.cars101.com/subaru/impreza/impreza2002.html) 2013 BRZ 0-60: 6.1 sec 2002 WRX 1/4 Mile: 14.2 sec 2013 BRZ 1/4 Mile: 14.6 sec Both have 2.0L Boxer engines. Both are highly praised upon their release. Both have created a ruckus. How does any of that amount to "nothing"? I are curious. Also, since browsing FT86Club.com, I've given up on admiring the Volk Rays G25 wheels (the ones mounted on the Scion pictured above). They're all over the place in Japan and aren't as exclusive or elusive as I had hoped they would be. |

Had fun cruising with a sexy red BRZ for a couple hours tonight. Also sat in one for the first time, and the notion of "I don't want to give up AWD" left my mind the second my ass hit the seat.
