From my understanding any cold air intake you get will need a specific map for it. Check out the Cobb site, they have maps for some of the more popular CAI on the market that you can DL to the AP.

What car, what year, what other mods.

Even so, like Southern said, you need a map for any CAI. weather you get the map from Perrin, or Cobb, or TP or whatever, you need a map for your model, year, for your engine, for your mods and for your CAI. do not run without a map.

We have AEM intake maps for the 08+ WRX and 08+ STi. Those vehicles also have separate maps for the Cobb SF intake as well as the stock intake. For other year WRX/STi, you must use the stock intake or Cobb SF intake with our maps (no need for separate maps for Cobb SF in this case). If you use an AEM or other intake with these other model years, you will need a custom tune.
