Re: Parting out WRX
Are you selling your aftermarket mods and then the car, returned to stock or selling the whole car piece by piece or what?
Would you list what you're selling if it's just a few parts or list what is gone/claimed if selling the whole thing a piece at a time? Thanks! Quote:

Hey guys, thanks for the response... Just so everyone knows and no one is disappointed the car is not totaled or anything, I am just selling aftermarket things. - All prices I list will be OBO (with in reason, you lowball you get crapcanned ;P)
If I don't list it, it's not for sale, for example the OEM lip and stuff that is irreversible. If you know of other parts I have but are not listed and are seriously intersted in, let me know - I.e. the flywheel, super PITA to swap but would be willing to if someone wanted to pay labor. Blitz Mechanical Boost Gauge Blitz Mechanical Oil Temperature Gauge Greddy electronic EGT (white on white) Blitz SBC-iD/Power Meter ID combo Forge Recirc/BOV (this will require your stock, I don't have it anymore) Lightweight forged aluminum pully set Samco Intercooler hoses - SOLD Painted Side skirts (I would swap this with another blaze yellow if someone were interested... 200$?) Perrin Up-Pipe (debateable - lot of work!) 18x8 Gold SSR Comps with yoko spec 2s (1650$) at about 50-60% tread Cobb Unichip (400$) M2 Turbo Back (If you have complete stock exhaust I will make a swap deal - I am missing parts I think for my stock) Cobb Cold Air Intake (will make stock swap deal with this too) Custom Air/Water intercooler (pain in the ass to install, requires modification of bumper cover, only the eurethane part - WAY WAY better than stock or TXS top mount) MRT 22B wing (blaze yellow) Painted and never mounted, fully adjustable (700$) In fact paint is so new it's still at the shop. If someone wants this RIGHT NOW I could call and possibly put a hold on the repaint and paint it some other color. The reason it is being repainted was because it was damaged in shipping which required repair/repaint. Custom Leather from group buy, it's brand new. Only the backseat has been installed - the front seats are still in the box. Will swap with another sedan owner, I will have these installed on my seats if someone wants to do a complete swap. Color is Charcoal with dark grey suede inserts. Backseat has never been sat in. Swap will cost your seats + 800$ - Yes i Know this is almost the price of the kit with suede BUT I have already done the backseat, and I assure you, you don't want to do it - In addition to that I'll have the front seats done before the swap, which will cost me another 150-200$ STI Shift Trim (Hellwaggon!) (25$) STI Shift Knob (50$) Delta Dash Key/Software - you need to have your own OBD2 plug and cable (250$) or Delta Dash Key/Software/Plug/Cable/dell P3 850/14"/512/10g laptop - ($1000) Set of Stock Rims with R compound 215/40/16 tires, used for auto-cross ONCE. (550$) or will trade for stock wheels/re92s+200$ Custom 10" Sub box, fits flush against back of seat (does block punch through) - This would need to be one of the last things to go, as it would require a hundred or two dollars of rework on my part. This box is designed to have an amp mounted behind it (not visible from trunk) and is currently where I have my kenwood amp mounted - That however drives my main speakers so I have to leave something in the car. The Goal here is to sell everything for 5-6k and sell the car for ass cheap. I have no doubt I am missing parts - And will update this list as I have time. If there is no price it's because I haven't researched it enough to know what it's worth. EDIT: BTW I would still sell the car whole, as it sits for 20k If someone wants it.... Can't believe no one has taken me up on that. -Z |

Hey guys... Just gonna say this once. I've had about 8 low ball offers, offering 500$ for 3000+$ worth of stuff is absurd, don't even bother. This is NOT about money for me, but I'm not going to get ripped off, I'd rather keep the care than get raped.
glilly: 250$ for my exhaust? are you freakin crazy? Nothing has been purchased, make your claims - dibs are no good unless you're serious, first person with cash wins, period. I might extend SOME dib curteousy on the big ticket items like the wheels. -Z |

I wasn't under the impression that an offer of 150 dollars off of the an "or best offer"price was absurd, or lowballing. Or maybe you weren't directing that towards my offer, what's the best you can do? pm me
