Looking to borrow cam sprocket tools
I am looking to see if anyone has the company 23 cam sprocket tools I could barrow or possible buy. I need the one for the normal exhaust sprocket and the one for JDM V7 AVCS sprocket.
part numbers C23-500 and C23-505

The motor is on a engine stand and I only have the new belt that's already on the motor.

I have a company 23 cam tool. I used it on my 2003 2.0 wrx. Pm me if your interested.
Edit: I have the cam lock tool. It may not be what your looking for. My bad. |

I have a jdm I bought by accident I'm in guilford ct. I can cancel my ebay return if its what u need. I will check the part # when I'm at work. If your close and do the job quickly you can use my other tool

I am in Griswold, ct.
I just need the tools to loosen the 4 cam bolts. Let me know if you have the right part number on the jdm one and how much you need to get for it. I mite just buy it. |

You don't need a tool. Break the bolts loose with the belt still on
I have done hundreds of these and never used one. With belt still on, hit it with a good 1/2 drive impact gun. If it rounds out or won't come off, grind the head off with a carbide bit in a die grinder. The remaining bit in the cam will thread out with 2 fingers. |
