Nevermind I didn't like the screws they supply (#10), I bought some #8 screws with flush washers, $1.99 for 8. I didn't want to be flashy, just something effective and subtle.

$4.99 special!

All in all, I'm tickled with the look. With only 4k miles on the WRX, there's already knicks on the paint just behind the tires. At least this will prevent any further damage.

Would these fit GC8s as well? Can I get them on-line? I'm located in Costa Rica and I'm exactly looking for something that looks like this!!!

I just use a single truck flap from Napa or any other parts store. $20-25 for all four flaps, and its real heavy duty material. Just cut with a good knife (takes ~30 minutes) using any shape you want.

I have a rally blue, 13 wrx wagon and I'm looking for flaps. I want them blue tipped (same color as the car), and I would like there to be "WRX" etched into the flaps. Any recommendations would be appreciated

Rally armor makes universal flaps that are black and the logo is black too. Nothing fancy but a good look. The auto part store flaps work well too. They comes with self taping screws so you get a drill and drill them into place. My buddy bought come for his forester. they look nice and they held up a road trip from Arizona to South Dakota.

The Sparco universal flaps come in white, red, blue and black. You can have the etching done somewhere. I don't know of any company that etches letter sin them. They do come with a cool looking sparco sticker to put on the flaps. Self taping screws and a drill, they will fot your GC8. You can get them at rally sport direct.

We can make you a set of polyurethane WR blue flaps with a WRX style logo no problem, they are in prototype phase right now! Just email us at [email protected] for more info

Some more pics we were sent the other days from a customer in the UK, 4mm thick polyurethane mudflap kit:

How difficult is it to clean between the point where the side skirt attaches to the mud flap? Any issues with dirt getting in between?

With any mudflap brand there's always a possibility of getting dirt in between the flap and the side skirt, easy to clean with water when washing the car normally.

This is what our flaps are subjected to week in, week out. This driver is still on the first set of flaps - our flaps don't fly off mid-stage like the other brands do!

for the 08+ hatches, is there a difference in the RA bracket? I bought a used set from another member (i believe his car is 2011-12) but the bracket doesn't seem to fit mines, a 2013 hatch...at least the front bracket...i haven't tried the rears yet...any comments/help would be appreciated

**EDIT

See photos for reference. I know i need to tuck in the bracket at the green arrow, and have the bracket out at the yellow arrow. But i have a plastic piece that prevents me from doing this (red arrow). I would have to bend the bracket and i dont think this is how its supposed to be...i dont want to go cutting things as well...do i have the wrong bracket or am i doing something wrong?

08-10 WRX was narrow body - that's why it's not fitting.

They're the bees knees, his legs and his arms.

They are holding up so good...and I really put them through some rough treatment. I had RAs before these, but one tore off its mounting bracket and they were too flimsy to stand up to heavy mud and gravel.
