As located at http://autolinedetroit.tv/autoline/;

Autoline Detroit:
A half hour discussion program hosted by industry observer and expert John McElroy. John moderates a panel of reporters as they discuss the week's news and interview a top industry insider.

Program Schedule:
Detroit Public Television -
Special Day & Time This Week!
Monday @ 5:30PM EST
Speed Channel -
Sundays @ 9:30AM EST
Tuesdays @ 10:00AM EST

Program the above into your TiVo or if you miss it check their website next week for a RealMedia version of the show via the web.

For more info on 'Autoline Detroit' and this weeks STi review go to thier website; http://autolinedetroit.tv/vehicles/

"The STi will be priced in the low $30,000 range.
And it will compete head-to-head against the Mitsubishi EVO and even though they cost more, you can probably throw the all-wheel-drive Volvo S60 R and Audi S4 into the mix."

Don't get too excited though as the information at the website states nothing we don't already know.

FWIW,

'Autoline Detroit' is broadcasting at this moment (10 PM EST) on the "Speed Channel" and will toward the end of the show feature a "brief review' of the STi.

During the beginning of the show they showed a blue/gold STi on a track getting sideways (looked to be very easy) along a corner.

Todays show is about the uptick in high hp/torque offerings ranging from the Honda Odyssey (240HP) to 300HP to 500HP offerings.

Go check it out now!

Yeah, I was about to change the channel when they mentioned the STi...had to stick around for that! I guess the ties with GM allowed a Subaru to be on a car show that looks to be geared towards domestics.

The footage of the STi sliding sideways in a big way through the turns was a beautiful sight.

It was hilarious what they said about Subaru being in danger of losing their older, loyal buyers by building all these hotrods lately. They also mentioned something about a 400hp Cadillac CTS or something.

I got it saved to TiVo.
The CTS stuff was after the STi review was over and a series of commercials later. The show overall though was lame.

The driver of the STi on that track was able to toss the car with ease around the track. Very nice...

Yeah, the show might come in handy for insomniacs...not the most exciting, that's for sure.

The STi looked like a RWD drifter out on the track. DCCD set on full 65% no doubt.

I read something about MSRP officially being in the high $30K range, plus destination charges. What a killer deal for what is basically an affordable supercar.

Ive noticed all the "older" buyers get curious about the better performing Subaru models and end up buying them after the test drives
