Talking New STI owner saying Hello

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to say Hi, and that I look forward to taking part in some of the STI discussions.

I have traded in my 2004 WRX and am now the proud owner of a Rally Blue Perl STI w/gold wheels!

It was a toss up between an STI and an EVO. I decided to rule out the EVO based on these:

*Seems to be a younger crowd owning them.
*I think the Mitts warrenty/service coverage is terrible
*I did not like the feeling of the transmission/shifting
*The interior looks as cheap as a Geo Metro

The EVO is still an excellent car when you weigh its performance to price, but then again I feel the same with the STI. Just that its seems to fit my tastes better.

Cheers,

Scott

Yeah,

I picked up mine last Saturday, break-in sucks! You made a good choice for a daily driver. The EVO already is running 19psi and has the Geo Metro interior as you mentioned. My dealer made sure I knew that I could turn up the boost as soon as my warranty was up so that the car doesn't get boring.......yeah, like thats going to happen

Congrats,

Justin

Scott...........welcome to the club

Justin.........I'll crank the boost as soon as proper engine managerment is available, 21 psi here I come Factory warranty means nothing in my book, I won't let any dealer touch my car even if is free.

Not to be a bastard by moving this, but it really wasn't technical. Welcome to the club, though.

haha......no need to be jealous man, I only like to drive the best, it is quality that count, not quantity.

You heard what he said, he like the STi better too, and you already have one
