I want it to snow so I can do that but at the same time people can't drive at all in snow.

You can also do it in gravel

Oh and got the heck of it before everything melted, there was big slush spot in the road, i was in 2nd just accelerating from a stop sign, i floored it and ended up sideways. Not sure what the stability control does, because it didn't do much for me there

Even with mudflaps, it hurts and it breaks my heart to see my car scratched.

stability control definetly works (but i don't like it). i can do donuts all day long on gravel and in snow, but on ice it just makes me slide sideways, just really pissed me off today when i went around a corner and damn near slide sideways all the way into a curb. luckily no damage. if the rear end would have spun i would have been much safer.

Screw stability control! First time on the snow in my CVT sport prem. and i get a boatload of engine RPM killing and ABS'ing when trying to have a bit of "fun". It kills it in the traction and hills but whats the point if I cant complete a simple full drift around a corner? Cmon SOA. I feel cheated. Makes me wonder why I didnt go with the 5spd. oh, thats right, there were none available and waiting 5 months for an order wasnt an option but the snow plow option on this thing, well its the icing on the cake

Oh and if someone figures out a way around the nanny system...well, you will be a hero in my book

Your car looks great I still need to figure out how to install those corner bulbs for my headlights, as well as get a spoiler

Thanks! I got the spoiler added at the dealership, didnt have time to do it myself. The corner bulbs in the headlights are actually already in there, if theyre stock its barely noticeable, i replaced it with LED so it made it stand out much more. I like the 6000k look on the black

Got some snow last night and can confirm with the stability control off, you can kick the back end out, at least with the 5sp cars.

Supposed to be getting more snow tonight, can't wait to driving. Going to try some 4 wheel drifts tonight. :

You sure it wasn't just traction in general? I kicked the rear end out on my 5spd sport (with stability control still on, and with winter tires) in the last little snow storm on an unplowed road, it only took way too much throttle through a corner (done purposely, when driven sensibly it is a tank with snow tires on it).

Meaning I didn't change the controls and slid the rear out in snow (with snow tires on) by purposely taking a turn at an "unsafe" speed, at least for traction. The car recovered nicely. If it didn't there was nothing to hit, the area was surrounded by corn fields, no curb, no guard rail, no signs or trees.

You have to work to get the rear end to break loose, but it can be done whether the stability control button is active or not.
