Default Meguiar's Headlight Restoration Kit FTW

My headlights have been looking terrible, totally fogged over, so bad my lights werent lighting up the road very well. Its been like this for years, but I finally decided to do something about it. Not sure why i waited so long. I think they got so bad because of the sun, but probably more so because here in colorado they put lots of sand on the roads during snowstorms, and cars in front of me kick it up and it has a sandblasting effect. There are tons of rockchips on the front of my car from the same thing, that might be next on my list of things to fix.

I decided to go with the Meguiar's Headlight Restoration Kit (Heavy Duty Series)

It comes with a soft padded sanding block thing with 1000 and 3000 wet sand pads. Also comes with a polishing buffing pad that goes in a drill. Also come with the PlastiX clear platic cleaner and polish, and the headlight protectant which is the final coat and helps with uv protection. Oh, and a microfiber cloth. I think it was 26$ at oreilly's.

As you can see, pretty fogged over. I just washed the car so this is as clean as it gets with soap and scrubbing. I think it looks even worse in person.

I followed the directions, took maybe 15 minutes per side. And voila, much better.

Im happy
