Default suspension noob here please help

ok im having this weird noise come from my suspension as i slow down to a stop or take off from a stop, or go around corners at low speeds. the noise only happens when im under 10mph. the noise is hard to explain but it sounds something like how an old house with hard wood floors kinda creek. not really a creak but i dont know. please help any ideas would help before i go and take it into a shop, and pay 98 dollars for them to tell me that i need new springs or the bushings on top of it all.

There are several things that can make a creaking noise. Do you have upgraded sway bars with poly bushings? Dry bushing can make a noise like that.

you can try to grease them up a bit, or if your feeling a bit adventurous I've heard wrapping the contact area on your sway bar with teflon tape will also eliminate the creaking noise

1st solution. Try silicon spray at the bushings and sway bar mounting points...

I do this once a month and it takes care of the creaks of the suspension points.

They also have pressurized foaming lube in a can which has some good penetrating properties that works great. I have a can around here somewhere I'll try to find the brand. As far as worn out struts goes, they generally don't go creak, they go clunk over abrupt bumps, the handling gets bouncier and sloppy.

thanks for the help i will try spraying some type of lubricant on it and see if that works, as for the noise its not a clunk, but i do seem to find out i feel everything on the road. but it has been this way for a long time now so dont know if the struts are going out.
