Then one day you may end up in the same place that Mr. Lewis did. Just make sure you're in a school zone when you race your sweet ride.

Screw school zones and parking lots. I prefer neighborhood streets. I feel that you're really limiting yourself with school zones. I mean, they are really only busy from 7:30 to 8:30 AM and 3:30 to 4:30 PM and they usually only contain kids and the occasional old guy holding a stop sign. Neighborhood streets on the other hand are filled will all sorts of interesting things, cats, dogs, birds, the elderly, young adults, kids, bicyclists, skateboarders, rollerbladers, the handicapped, girlscouts, mailboxes, signs, garbage cans, other cars, school buses, etc, etc. It's a veritable orgasm of vehicular homicide fun.

the thing about street racing is...its one thing to be dumb and race on an empty half mile strip of backroad somewhere by yourself, but when you put other people's life's in your hands...if people want to go out and streetrace and hurt themselves thats cool, but you have to think twice about it when other people are involved. I go out on a regular basis and do time trials on some of the backroads here, but I only do it when I have no passengers and make sure that nobody is on the road that I am (before the flaming begins...i promise this can be assured...we usually post someone at the beginning and end of the loop with 2-ways, and then have one in the car so we always know when someone enters the roadway). This guy had a passenger in the car, who he obviously didn't really care about...

lol.... THE BEST STREET RACING IS IN Texass

Ive told many stories where at the street races cops walk around and talk to the racers. back in the day Ken Duttwieler use to trailer his Buick GN to the street races, take it off the trailer, race, and then go home. and lets not even get started on some of the vipers out there.

i remember the parking lot had prob around 300 cars. then down the street the Street racer motorcyle doods would meet at another parking lot. there had to be at least 500 bikes. They did it pretty big out there.

what part of texas was this? where i grew up, the cops pull you over for what ever reason. as for the street racing.... every sunday night by brooks afb, the cars would come out and so would the cops. at least 20 tickets a night from the same area. and very rude too.

that must have been back in the day you were talking about
