Wiring Help.
02 JDM WRX into 02 USDM RS
1.) WRX ECU plugs have none of the following wires, but do have wires from each on RS: B6 - Fuel Temp Sensor B25 - Fuel Level Sensor B15 - Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Signal A19 - Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Ground D11 - Drain Valve D22 - Fuel Tank Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Any thoughts? It obviously ran over there without these wires. 2.) I Have D12 (Blue) at WRX ECU but have not found info on diagrams for this wire. Since it's not in any of the diagrams or write-ups, I was planning on heat shrinking the end and tucking it in when I tape things back up. Is there any reason not to do this?

The JDM WRX ECU will not need those sensors to keep the ECU happy, but you will have problems if you need to be ODB-2 compliant, as from what I remember, none of the JDM cars are OBD-2.
I am not familiar with the GD JDM wiring, and was not able to find any real info on the D12 wire, but I did find this. http://forum.aempower.com/forum/index.php?topic=22500.0 3rd post. Hope this helps. Thanks, Rick |

Thanks Rick,
I appreciate the confirmation on the fuel sensor stuff. I had actually seen that aempower post in my searching as well, but felt skiddish about his list due to the ----><------ I'm gonna go ahead and button things up a bit and try to fire it up without these wires connected and just keep fingers crossed and/or keep an eye out for MIL codes. |

The blue wire is alternator signal, it is not needed. You can remove the pin from the plug. The other wires for the fuel tank just terminate them and run the car.

Thanks guys for the help. I have since fired it up, new issue is guages not working properly. Key in and acc switched on an all indicator lights come on, but none of the guages are working. Thinking either a ground wire not connected properly or I missed bolting one up somewhere.
