Default snowboards on top of wrx wagon

How many snowboards can you fit on top of a wrx wagon with a rack?

It depends on your rack system and the ski attachments you choose. I have Yakima racks with the Big Powderhound ski attachment, and it can carry 4 boards or 6 pairs of skis w/no problems. In fact, you can probably squeeze in an set of the smaller Powderhounds side-by-side with the Big Powderhound for a total of 6 boards.

thanks, I was hoping to fit 4 boards on top of the car. Do you mind if I ask where you got your rack from and the approximate price of the package?

grey, or is it gray?

I got the Yakima Big Powderhound at REI last year for about $50. It was on sale and that was just for the attachment which holds the skis/boards. You have to have the round bars etc. to attach these.

I've had my racks for 3 years. It came off my Legacy.

I also got it from REI. It's the Doublecross tower system. It's $157 for the whole package according to yakima's site

This does not include the price of attachments, of course.

i have the THULE 6 ski clip and it can hold 4 boards, but it can hold up to 6 boards if you wanted. the other 2 you will have to take out the bindings.
