We have to start doing pulls with Virtual Dyno to compare, I am getting close to finish the install of the 20G SL2 with a GS EBCS 3-way and a 3" TBE. Will be etuned on 93 @+/- 20psi.

Just used a calculator and indeed I may be small on the injectors, minimum is 850cc for a 350WHP engine.

I will be hardwiring the pump to lower them a bit with the dw hard wire kit which is something you could do to stretch out the 7500cc a bit.
curious what kind of power did u push out?

Yeah, it will have to wait till I save up the loot. I want to install exhaust, TMIC and EBCS all at the same time to save $$$ on tunes

I am running E85 at 23psi tapering to 20 at redline. There is other stuff but this is the most of it, also it is wrapped and blanketed and heat taped on everything. I love this turbo and for the half the price of others out there it is a great buy i will be running these turbos for a while to come i think.

To aid in the spool up issues, you really want an upgraded wastegate actuator. Kinugawa has them along with springs.

A 3 port ran in blocking mode helps as well.

Also, past 10 PSI, the stock BPV starts to open up killing spool (the car is designed for 14ish PSI max. When I added my TXS Type H BOV, my spool up on my 20G dropped 750 RPMS in all gears. People who tell you, oh the stock BPV is fine until XX HP are not thinking about spool and area under the curve. This by far was my best spool up mod and I am running it at the lowest setting.

I am trading my CHRA again for the billet 25GTX compressor wheel coupled with a different turbine wheel (not the SL2 wheel).

Plus wow, lots of discussion since I last checked.

Yes, you are severely limiting this turbo with the stock cbe and TMIC. This turbo can make 450 WTQ and 400 WHP on 93 octane with supporting mods (I have a ton of supporting mods and can almost hit 400 WHP on 93 octane with my old worn out 20G). Get a full 3 inch turboback and a FMIC (trust me, the FMIC does not add lag) to put you into the 400's. I went through the same thing with my Blouch TD05 20G. I could barely touch 400 WHP using the stock TMIC with methanol injection. A few more mods later with a good FMIC and I hit 478 ft/lb 438 whp on E85. By then I was clutch limited, so time for more upgrades and the larger turbo.

You want to change it out. dom 2.5xtr is a brilliant turbo. 400whp+(with meth). Full boost on the 2.5l around 3000rpm.

I think the Kinugawas are great budget turbos but I'd keep the 2.5xtr.

I actually received the upgraded wastegate actuator w/o ordering it. I believe that all shipments now are including those, since I saw someone say the same thing earlier in the thread

What difference am i looking at between twinscroll TD06SL2 60-1 10 cm non billet to TD06SL2 20G 10cm billet wheel. Understand both are completely different turbos but i wanna know what kinda trade off considering i want a bigger turbo but 60-1 doesnt come with the option to upgrade.

Choose a turbo to meet your requirements or goals. If you need help choosing I can lend an opinion

i need something close to DOM2.5XTR Twinscroll performance. To be fair, i am planning to run twinscroll. I am trying to use the best out of my money.

For the money of a single DOM 2.5XTR TS, i may be able to get a TS06SL2 20G 10CM (upgrade billet wheel) or 60-1 and have upgraded 264 cams or even meth to go along with it.

^^ This is my question as well, the billet 60-1 wheel looks like a good option for me.

So kinagawa is sending a better wastegate with these turbo's? When I was at there site the only option I could see to upgrade was the billet wheel. For the sl2 td06 20g

The 2.5xtr is a gtx3071 crammed into a small housing restricting it to 49lb/min. If your looking for same power potential I would suggest the 60-1. You should get the same power out of the twin scroll at possibly lower boost.

Not just concerned with power, but trade off in spool. Besides, 2.5 is a billet wheel as opposed to cast in the 60-1 offered by kinugawa; there's without mentioned the former is a bb turbo

Have someone build you a twin scroll gtx3071r. You'll be asking too much of a 20g if your looking for fast spool and similar power, unless you plan on high boost and race gas. Billet version of course
