Won't work without a lot of work and aggravation, and even then it won't run very well. |

ya 2.0 heads are everywhere its just i was trying to run it with the 1.8 computer so 2.2t heads on the 2.0 block would be easyer to put everthing back on from the 1.8. but if it wont work i dont have a chance i guess. i just thought if people are trying to put 2.0 heads on 1.8 motors why cant i put 2.2t heads on a 2.0 block

Wait wait wait. You wanted to run 2.2t heads on a 2.0 block on a 1.8 ECU? Step away from the car. |

You should probably stick with 1.8 heads, since your ecu is made for 1.8 Liter. You could probably use the 2.0 block. Maybe....

The AFC and ITC probably won't be enough, though I can't say I've done much research on an EJ18t project. I personally would sell the 22t heads and get a set of nice EJ20 heads, then swap the whole thing in. |

There's more EJ22E blocks out there than EJ205 blocks for cheap, and it also produces more power and torque. Both are open deck and has the same castings, just a bigger bore on the 22E. Slap EJ205 heads on the 22E and you're set!!
