I just replaced the original (it seems) hatch supports with an eBay set that work amazingly. Also I just bought some stock GT rims to replace my steelies! My new head unit just came in the mail today and am waiting for my arm rest to come in the mail. I love parts.

Actually got it back today from my father, now it's time to add a Kenwood DNX9990HD to it. My current Alpine isn't motorized and I need a hu hat will allow some flexibility in the positioning of the face.

Dropped an H6 in it.

Now I just need to get the damn thing back out of the trunk. It just barely fit through the trunk opening, so I need to get my buddy and his son over to help wiggle it back out.

I'm not sure, actually. I've had an EZ30R since 2006 and haven't gotten very far with it. That's partly due to the fact Delta Cam has had my heads and cams since March 2011, and partly due to my not really pushing ahead with the project.

I picked this engine up partly because I want to see what the differences are between the '01-04 EZ30D and the '05+ EZ30R. It was dirt cheap, so I figured it couldn't hurt to buy it to play with. I might end up fixing it up and installing it. We'll see...

Mainly aesthetics...installed the head unit with a little dremmel work and dropped in the new arm rest. Bought a new set of Subaru Universal all-weather floor mats and put them in my STi and put my old(er) set from the STi into the wagon! haha The list is getting shorter and shorter...

Flogged her silly on hwy 1 off the coast in ca. My brakes are not all that happy but i had a huge grin on my face. The wrx 5 speed and rear end made a huge difference in handling over the slushbox. Thinking about getting a set of sti alu ctrl arms and strut bars to make her a little more predictable when going hard.

Oh...y'know...just added a few fiddly bits, here and there.

We're about a month's worth of weekends, into the swap. The car will be more Impreza than Legacy, when we're through.
