Running Too Lean???
Hi guys,
I just got an '03 wrx... I am just wondering if I get an EBC, and an intake.. will I be running too lean? Also, I know its been asked 10000000001 times, but I never seem to get a solid answer... What is my best option for a BOV if I want a little noise, and dont want to be rich between shifts? -Chris Also wondering what ECU mod is most user friendly, and if it would take place of a fuel controlelr.

the intake alone will can cause lean conditions - dont even bother with one....not same effect as it would have on your stang (assuming u had one and hence ur name)
an ebc is $200-$1000 for $499 send your ECU to cobb for a reflash...you wont have to screw with tuning, you wont have to deal with a fuel/boost controller...it looks stock...it learns your setup I think GFB has an adjustable BOV that changes the amount of air vented...there are a couple others that are 50/50 that should be ok but im not 100% sure either hth ~wrx300 |
