Default 2014 100K miles Sti hatchback should be listed for?

How much should a sti be listed for sale?

Hey guys. I got a 2014 white hatchback sti. I am an audi technician. So, engine itself never got tuned. It has bc coilovers (installed around 50-60K). It only got dropped 7/8ths in the front and 1inch in the back. No spacers, T-belt, accessories belts, thermostat, water pump and cam seals, rollers and tensioner got replaced at 90k. newer steering rack from newer sti model OEM(updated gear ratio one), 4 TPMS sensors, 4 new tires, Front pads and rotors (stoptech), rear pads and rotors (stoptech). and all 4 new wheel bearings. at 105k. Oil changes are done at every 5k, (with new cabin filter), Diff, trans fluids and sparkplugs is done at every50k (so yea twice so far). Just installed the newest idoing radio. Apple car play is sick. and a short shifter, weighted ****knob, auto dimming rear view mirror and convex blue tint wide angle mirrors for the sides. heavy duty rally skid plate and mud flaps. custom heavy duty tie down points in the seat back for gear hauling while still have the ability drive like a lunatic. custom cut and adjusted magnetic lock roofrail bike racks by kuat and folding kayak pads built into the rail. Anyway. What does the car need? New a/c compressor (it sounds like a dying animal but still works). Old steering rack was leaking really bad and steering pump at some point got air in it. It was sounding really bad. During the replacement of the rack i found no metal shavings so only replaced the rack. But it would be good to replace that pump before it becomes a problem. I would suggest heavier gauge sway bars front and rear. Thats the only thing this car is missing. Vehicle has roughly little over 100k another thing i would replace if i was the new owner is fuel pump. How much would something like this honestly be worth in the market? There is still manufacturer's warranty on the steering rack and the wheel bearings and tpms sensors for another 10months. I have been driving the car for couple thousand miles and everything is bone dry. If you are in the south florida area you are welcome to come check it out. if you are a remote buyer. I can take it shop of your choosing. Or i can have it set up in my friends shop for your inspection. How much something like this would be worth? I am going to to get it shiny detailed this weekend and do a small photo shoot. I was thinking 28k? Is that unrealistic? Also was hoping to sell it before the tax season in April. In less than 90days.

I can't seem to find a similar car in the postings. With parts and labor included i dumped more than 4k just so recently. and Kbb is has it at 21k. Is 25k more reasonable or am i still crazy?

You can ask whatever you feel it's worth just prepare to be roasted.

I would start on BaT, here and eBay Motors and only go to FB if it doesn't sell.

In your listing the only thing that matters is the year, make and mileage, that laundry list of parts is meaningless to a buyer.
The fact that you put 4k in recently is also meaningless, nobody is going to add that to the actual value so they can pay you back for your maintenance work.

28k is not happening, too many newer cars out there for less
It's probably worth 20 tops

used car values are coming back to earth as we're slowly recovering from the fallout of the Covid shutdowns

You're making the mistake of adding the modifications and regular maintenance replacement parts to the price of the car. New steering rack means that the old one wore out. As a buyer, without you saying anything, I'd ask if you replaced the pump in the process. For some people BC means rad, cool, droppability. To me it means garbage and my first question reading your post would be "Do you have the stock shocks" as even if they have 100k miles on them, they're going to be far better than what's on there now.

The price? Bring the car to Car Max and get an offer from them. They will sell it for $2k more than your offer. Note that anyone is going to drop their price significantly for the "over 100k miles" fact. Yah, I know cars now go hundreds of thousands of miles. My 13 Crosstrek is almost at 200k miles. But psychologically, people want to stay under 100k. I actually took my Crosstrek to Car Max a number of times, considering swapping to something else. At 94k miles, it was worth $6800 to them. At 101k miles, a few months later, nothing changed, it was worth $2800.

You can list your car for whatever price you want. When nobody has any interest at $28k, first, sell off all the racks and get "real shocks" back on the car and drop the price $200 every 4 days. Remember in your head that your best audience is mom and pop where pop used to drive a Lotus and wants something somewhat fun again now that Junior has finished college and lives 1000 miles away. He wants something that looks like it just came out of the showroom. (that would describe me, by the way). The good thing there is that mod type parts can be sold. Clean the car outside and inside every day, like it was going into a show. That makes a huge difference.

Finally, since this looks too much like a for sale ad, I'm closing it.
