Default Moving To La From Vermont

Yep, finally making it happen. No more douchey guys with Iroc-Z's and a mullet coming to the "tuner" meets talking bout pickin up Donna after shes outta class or not being able to go out at night cuz their p.o. is watchin em. No now I'll be surrounded by people who most likely have never needed AWD in their life(other than that trip to Tahoe once a year) they just buy a Subie cause its just the damn finest automobile on the road. Can't wait to get up on "the scene". But in all seriousness I am stoked to soon be part of the SCIC and have my parts available for pickup instead of waiting a week for em to be shipped cross country. More cheers more beers! Heres to relocation!

i think it's pretty much that entire tri-state area of VT, NH and ME!
Moving from what is proabably the greenest state (with best air quality) in the US to what's probably the brownest state (smog).

i had to use "()" to clarify before someone busts the racist flag or something.

Welcome, but 60+% here would like to move to VT, haha. Honestly theres a whole lot of "douchey guys" here. Have you been here before or decided to come on a whim? Hmmm, the majority of the stuff I've ordered has been from the east coast. Hopefully you make it in time for the west coast Subiefest.

yeah unfortunately I'm not going to make it for subiefest as I will be leaving the 5th which is the day before it starts and I got lots of stops to make. I got a good kick out of the green/brown thing. Yeah I'm really gonna miss the clean air, clean well water, and of course fall which is the best part about living in Vermont.

I'm from southern VT on the west side of the state and brattlebronx is on the east side..which is good because then we can't smell the hippies. I hope you got a good reason for moving there because I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Its kinda like a little San Francisco.

Welcome to SCIC. I recently moved from Tri-State (NJ) to my new job in Los Angeles. Drove my PedoSoob all the way out. It was a ballast! I haven't met up with the local Subbie community yet, but I've been hanging out with some cool folks from HH and DirtyImpreza. I have more opportunities to showcase my AWD here than I ever did in Jersey.

oh the troopers are super up here alright. super at being bored and actually messing with you. example:
driving from Burlington to Southern Vermont one time my friend and I got the double back attack. What happened was we were driving myself in front and friend behind in his own truck, said trooper pulled out behind us and was running radar. He followed us for 20 minutes riding my friends ass then hit his brakes and turned around. My friend called me to say how crazy that **** was and just before I went around a turn I saw him double back and starting crusing up again but hanging back a bit to see if we would start speeding. I told my friend he hung up and we just locked our cruise control in at the speed limit(standard procedure when being tailed by a statey) he followed us for 10 more minutes then pulled off and that was the last we saw of him.

so I made it to boulder Colorado in 31hrsbfrom Vermont... Had a pretty fun short run with a 04 wrx outside of Chicago around two in the morn I'll be uploading a video when I can. Partied down at CU with some friends then headed to park city on Sunday which took about 7 hrs. Nice drive through Wyoming though when I got to park city and found out about Tom Brady I was not so happy. Goin to Solid motorsportz in slc for an oil change today then 2morro it's off to Boise. I'll be uploading pics from the first part of the drive soon as I get a chance there's some.... Interesting ones
