Lots of good info in here! Has anyone ran or is currently running the kit from KSport? Or have any feedback on it?

How much time does it take to install this kit? Not including making a setup to hold the tanks and that in the trunk, just time to install the airbags and lines? Going to fab my own trunk setup so trying to figure out labor to have 4 airbags and hook everhing up, once home from shop I'm going to figure out the trunk setup!

I saw you guys at defrost, and now dustoff. Before my subi i had a bagged MKV (bought perts from you guys of course) and i loved it. I am going to be honest, even with my sway bar delete i was surprised with the handling and ride quality. I was stil not convinced enough to bag my wrx. After watching that video i am sold. I was actually talking to my buddy Rob Kittredge from my car club "Corn Status" about a setup. Seems to make sense and for the most part sounds affordable. I can't wait to place yet another order with Bag Riders!

It didnt take me that long. The trunk set up takes the longest imo and figuring out where and how you want to run your lines, along with where you want you switches if you go that route or etc. I mean on my sti it took me a little longer but still pretty easy. on my wrx i knew everything to do so it was easy.

Pretty sure on the passenger side the sway bar gets In the way and you can't get as low as the driver side. Think it more has to do with how low you want to be in the first place. (on vw's)

So far I've only tackled the trunk setup, but just making it look clean and organized has taken a while. I don't think running the lines will take very long. Like sato said though, it really depends on what management setup you go with.

What management setup you running? I want the best one they offer, does the management system take longer to wire in? How many hours to install the lines and hook the management system up?

Airlift makes a really nice system called the V2. It is very easy to install and you watch Brian's tutorials on their site http://www.airliftperformance.com/

I have the accuair elevel. From what I read, the elevel is the best height based setup, and the v2 is the best pressure based system. It's all opinion though, and many are happy with just basic switches or something like the analog setup from bag riders. There are so many damn options lol.

At the end of the day I wanted something I didn't have to worry much about. It was between the elevel and the v2 when I was looking.

I'm the same way, maybe someone will explain the main differences between the two. The killer part is how much time is needed to install this setup compared to a simple coilover setup. Someone who has to pay to install is going to be a killer, well over 2,000 just in labor.......

The main difference between the AutoPilot V2 and the AccuAir E-Level system is how the two systems achieve user defined presets. The AutoPilot V2 uses bag pressure for presets, whereas the AccuAir E-Level system uses height sensors similar those found in some Mercedes and Lamborghini vehicles that come stock with Air Ride.

With pressure presets, as you add additional passengers or cargo into the cabin, the height of your vehicle will be lower. You can think of bag pressure as spring density. Simply put, as you add additional weight in the cabin, you need to compensate by adding more pressure to your bags.

By utilizing height presets, the AccuAir E-Level system doesn't require any gauges as your bag pressure becomes irrelevant. The E-Level system attempts to reach preset height values, rather than pressure values. Therefore, as you add additional cargo or passengers to your car, you still have the peace of mind that you will be at your aligned height without having to add pressure and take measurements.

For those asking questions about installation time, we often compare an Air Ride install to doing a coil-over install and audio system install at the same time. The time it takes to do an installation is largely dependent on how intricate the individual would like the management setup to be. Some go all-out with painted air tanks and polished stainless steel hard lines, while others simply tuck everything away for a quick and easy install.

Depending on the speed at which you work, I strongly believe a Subaru Air Ride install can take place in roughly 6 hours with the proper tools and skill set. I wouldn't factor in fine tuning of camber and defining spring rate into that 6 hours, but as far as installing the struts and management is concerned, 6 hours is definitely possible. For a less experienced installer, a weekend in their garage would be sufficient.

For further technical inquiries, please shoot me a PM or E-Mail [email protected]. Or, you could post in the thread I started in the 'Technical -> Suspension' forum, right here!

On topic, here's a couple more shots of my wagon Gotta love Vermont!

EVERY over the road truck (Semi) runs on bags, if it weren't for bags, you would have NEVER gotten your car, because they couldn't ship it to the dealer...

You wouldn't get food or fuel or most any of the necessities of life...

Without bags for other things, besides groceries...

Get with the program or GTFO
