I would like to but I havent looked at the schedule yet. The Groove union track days at grandsport speedway are fun as well. I have been going to these lately.

Keep and eye out on Red Meat and Race Fuel that MSR has from time to time. Used to be a bargain, but non-member price was raised so it may or may not be cheap anymore.

WRXTuan - they more than doubled the Reat Meat and RF from what it used to be.
$75 was a bargin for 3 20 minute sessions, entertainment while the others ran and a meal. its $200 now http://msrhouston.com/events/rmrf I've done two events in Angleton and it's my favorite track. its especially fun to drive after driving our 89 VW cabby in the lemons series races there. the difference between a fwd coke can with full race brakes, track tires and bare to the bone interior compared to our subies is crazy different. fun events for sure. Everyone pushes their car differently but FYI - i boiled the stock brake fluid my first time out and the power steering fluid the 2nd time out. both upgraded to synth and it's never happened again. (engine 100% stock, upgraded sways, links and pads only) looks like Jan 26th-27th is the next drivers edge there |

yeah the price hike killed RMRF for me. It was almost too good of a deal while it lasted. $200 is too much for a week night event. It should be cheaper than a weekend event. Its a shame they were great fun. A member told me they were losing money on it, though I am not sure what incremental costs they have with opening the track on a weeknight. I wish they could have priced it at about 125$ and perhaps got rid of the free dinner.
