I have an 07 Impreza Wagon with no keys for the locked cross bars.
The 4 locks are stamped E018. The local dealer that sold the car originally blew me off to a locksmith that thinks he needs $85 for lunch. There was some mention that the OEM racks were Yakimas but their 3 digit codes are prefixed with an "A". Anybody know how I can wriggle out of this on the the cheap? |

Yup! and honestly i think theyre the best option because i had the ski attachment that subaru makes (i forget which yakima model it is) but it whistled like a bitch, even with a fairing. The fatcat is nearly silent which is really nice and it fits a ton up on the roof especially if you have it angled.

^ not with the hardware that comes with it. The OEM bars are the wrong shape.

Factory cross bars with Yakima Highrollers. As stated before, the front crossbar definitely has some flex in it, so the bikes do move a little when hitting bumps etc, but throughout general driving don't seem move too much.

Nothing crazy, just a FatCat6 on the OEM Cross Bars.

IIRC, theres a even a custom bracket you can use to make the installation of the Fatcat6 onto the OEM bars much cleaner.
