Lol

Once I get all the body work taken care of, it will go back to IAG for the cage work and a final tune. Then in the winter of 2013 it will get a full STI trans swap and brembo's. Then I need to decide on what to do with it engine wise.

haha you need yourself some night vision there sir

Side note: I am in a bit of a predicament here I got a buddy selling his 2002 corvette 77k miles on it slp long tube headers with a slp loud mouth 1 catback v2 cams tuned made 430whp and lowered with the 07 ls2 corvette rims **** looks beautiful he told me if I want to buy it in spring he'd sell it to me for 15k...so I am debating do I just rock the bugeye for no as is, do I try to find a sti motor to slap in her, or sell it and go with the vette

Pro's: I know the guy selling the vette so I know its been moderately beat on but no track time or nothing. He's had a lot of luck with it no problems he is selling to buy a ls2 vette. ITS A CORVETTE! and this particular one eats my car alive

Con's: Its retarded loud cops def will hate me in my little town, insurance is going to go crazy high, I live in northern nj we get a fair amount of snow and rain and the car is almost useless in both.

Decisions decisions

^ 15k = 2.5l and lots of mods. Keep your AWD my friend. Being from the Northwest, its SO important. That vette wont do a damned thing to you/ for you as soon as a snow flake hits the pavement.

Well I would be selling my car and I've been seeing a lot of bugeyes with double my miles and in worse shape going for like 10-11k I was hoping to sell mine for around 12 and then only have 3k come out of pocket.

I hear you though man I keep thinking a bout how unpractical it is going to be but I love that thing so much, nothing beats the sound of a LS1 in my opinion any how. One thing I was considering is I found a 02 trans am ws6 just shy of the same power going for 10k with only 55k miles on it I was considering going that route but same problem with practicality. Also do not want to buy someone elses headache...Already have had plenty of headaches with my own car haha

You're right though I may as well just keep the bugeye, just spent a bunch of money doing this 06 sti transmission swap, I love the look on people's faces when a bugeye wagon keeps up with or beats whatever car they're in.

Speaking of that sti trans I need to get my dccd put in already other wise my bugeye aint gunna be doing much better in the snow haha I think its a 70/30 front wheel drive bias right now.

^ no matter what car you have, It'l always be headaches and money. That's just the way it is. At least with these cars, they're fairly practical, with some fun mixed in. I nearly bought a Roush Mustang because it was sitting right next to my bugeye when I bought it. I love mustangs, but not for where I live. Only 3k difference in price. However, I realized that a Subaru would be my best choice overall when considering gas mileage, safety, reliability, and 4 door functionality.

Yeah that is def true...I need to lay off my gas pedal since doing the sti trans I've been averaging like 15-16mpg def noticed I've been driving her a little harder now that I am not worrying bout my second gear grinding all the time, but I also got 1000cc injectors and a more aggressive tune that's prob not helping. Gotta get her back up to 19 local driving 2k shifts! haha

You're right though for right now the bugeye is the way to go, I started her and invested a lot of money and time I may as well finish her.
