Door lock issues :( on an oldly subaru.
My mother-in-law, god bless her heart, locked the keys in our 93 Subaru Legacy and had a guy use a slim-jim on the drivers side to open it up and managed to pop the rod (rod that activates the power locks) off the key lock cylinder. Before i open the other panel to look at the passenger side, does anyone know what it was that was attaching the rod to the cylinder (a clip or screw??). There is a little metal tab with a hole at the end of the rod that attaches to the cylinder, but what holds this tab to the cylinder? How do i fix this? What is the part called? I've looked everywhere to find this.
Thanks in advance for any info. Sorry no pics yet.
