Nice, which bearings are you running? Std hx on the rods? Those cams go good to like 9500rpm iirc. Deff a drag cam could use slightly more lift less duration but its a off the shelf cam so.
Like to see the car on c16 if he keeps a single pump. |

These are the newer S3s which are already like 11.5mm of lift. I will be doing the second pump in the future so I probably won't waste time on a c16 tune.

Oh cool did they do the same with the s2? You didn't mention your bearing clearances. Just curious since your spinning to 8k an I'm sure plans for 9k?

Honestly I'm not sure what they clearanced the bearings at. I can ask them. I don't really think I would run it past 8.5k. |

Do you think perhaps some things are too "big"? Flow is great but I would think there is a point where you're just slowing the exhaust pulses down while no longer making gains (referring to the exhaust manifold specifically). Also I would think the GSC S3 cams would be for an application expected to rev beyond 9k? Do you think some S2's would lose much power compared to the S3's at this rpm and power level? Obviously if the OP is perfectly happy none of this really matters. Again the car is sick and can't argue with a 650whp Subaru. I'm just wondering if the power band can be widened while not losing too much in the top end with a different cam selection and/or maybe exhaust manifold. |

A wider power band will not help drag times. This car needs an external oil pump so the engine can be tuned to higher rpm.

I found that car to be a struggle to drive around town since it doesn't have much bottom end, how do you cope with this with your ride? |

That is the right answer! We recommend that to all of our customers who are wanting to be a street beast. We run that gear set in the "bullet." Run that 4th gear out to 9000rpms!
