Default SCIC PCH fun run & BBQ March 16th!

ok all the details are now taken care of. so here is whats happening.

Saturday March 16th at 9:30 am we will meet in the Ralphs parking lot on the corner of Topanga Canyon Blvd (State Highway 27) & Ventura Blvd. We will wait for everyone and roll out between 10-10:30. We will cruise down Topanga Canyon and turn right onto PCH (Hwy. 1) and cruise on up til we get to Sycamore Beach which is on the left hand side (before you hit Oxnard). Bring your sports equipment/beach attire so we can have some fun! Also please bring food for the BBQ, as this will be a pot-luck of sorts. Ralphs is there so even if you forget you can run inside and pick up some hot dogs or meat or whatever. Parking is $3 so dont forget to bring some cash. ALL of SCIC is invited and you can bring friends but just dont go inviting other car clubs so this doesnt get too big GET READY TO HAVE SOME FUN!
edit:Ralphs address is 21909 Ventura Blvd. Woodland Hills 91364 Map

p.s. This isn't going to be a race, i don't want anyone getting tickets on SCIC's day of Fun!
And thanks to Kinsbane and Karazyman for helping out.

I am so there.

I believe that's like after 10th week, so I'll be finished with everything by then...

no finals this quarter.

*dodges heavy objects hurled at his head*

I just hope I can get this 180 miles to every tank of gas issue resolved by then. i'm getting tired of pumping up every 2 days.

i am planning on showing up for this event. looks like so much fun. i was just wondering... is everyone's subaru really customized, etc? my car is relatively stock and i'm thinking of maybe waiting until i do some more mods to my car before i show up for something like this. the drive seems really cool, though.

i haven't seen anyone ask a question like this, so i thought i'd bring it up. thanks.

i would venture to say that most everyone will NOT be customized. you definatly will not be the only stock subaru there. besides this isnt a "show off" meet, its just for everyone to hang out and have fun and go on a cool drive.

My car's fairly stockified, I'm not big on upgrading stuff... just like small mods here and there and whatnot, and I'm not afraid to show up, so you shouldn't be, either !!

thanks for the response, guys. i feel better now.

i guess i'm not completely stock since my car has lowering springs, front/rear/side underspoilers (which are kind of stock) and tinted windows...but for the most part, nothing crazy like some of the cars i've seen on this forum.

it will be a lot of fun to meet everyone and just have a good time. hopefully 20-30 cars will show up, that would be great. maybe we should start compiling a list of who is planning on attending, since the date is rapidly approaching, just to get a good estimate of who will show up.
