What parts did you get? I'm going to get mine clear-bra'd at Modern Armor as soon as I can after I get it. I already bought some Opti-Coat 2.0 to protect the paint.
I went through Moe Mendoza. He's in Internet salesman I think? I didn't get an alarm/stereo upgrade because I plan on upgrading all of that at some point anyway.

And I already have wheels, a fairing for the rack and tail light overlays. I'm getting flaps soon as well. I thought about getting it clear bra'd but being as I'm getting white, I didn't want the bra to yellow over time. And I work a a custom paint shop in Old Town Lewisville so I figure if I get any chips I can just spot them in.

+1. I don't understand how people are saying they have like 60 miles on the car in the first few days. Don't you people get a new car and just get in a drive all over? That's usually what I do for the first week or so, easily get 1000 miles in combining all my favorite drives. First drive on this one should be PCH on the way back from picking her up in Orange County. Will be sure to post some pics. Such an awesome drive.

You must be going on a road trip. I've been driving 2 days and only have about 30+ miles lol. May be 50-60 by the end of today.

So my dealer says that they have been invoiced for my STI already. Does that mean the car has arrived at the port?

Lol. We were all wrong. I know for a fact that Aphrodite Leader has the cars in Baltimore for the 1/02 schedule date. It arrived on 12/28 and it's the only vehicle ship coming in! WOooooooo It makes perfect sense. The cars get dropped off on 12/31 then 1/01 off then schedule date on 1/02 exactly on time.

Good news for all you RI folks. It is headed to Davisville ETA 1/02.. just checked. It's already there! probably a few more hours!!!

Lots of Googling and speculations since Subaru of America doesn't give you any info about shipping.

Yeah I'm pretty sure. They come into Vancouver, WA and Richmond, CA for the west coast. I tried myself to find the right ship but no luck so far.

I'm trading two vehicles, one of which they already have over there on their lot (in storage) and it's all complicated so I just decided to stick with them and wait it out.

They better give me goddamn invoice or lower though this is ridiculous.[/quote]

Well everyone, I will be moving on to the rest of the forum now. I'm not sure if it helped me to know about everyone elses timing or just drove me more crazy. I've only driven it home from the dealer so far but it is awesome and worth the wait (would do it again). I'll remove the plastic and clean it up in the garage today. Best of luck to everyone!

I'm only 77miles man. And I got full front clearbra for it already so now I'm going to drive it more.

They feel just like any other car's paint. I don't really see any different. They all need care for to remain like new. I got my dealer to throw in PermaPlate PaintGuard for free.

I can vouch for Vancouver, WA. My car came from there. Saw it on Subarunet screen.

The paint is garbage compared to other manufactures. I have a PBP paint pen on order and I'm going to try and fill it in and clearcoat it before the clearbra on Saturday. Won't be perfect but it'll be better than putting a clear bra over what looks like a "freckle" on my hood.

You should be fine. Someone correct me of I'm wrong but I believe they stop taking orders around end of march beginning of April. Even then you run the chance of getting pushed to the next MY

April 15th, 2012 was the last date for 2012 orders. But, many orders placed in April and even March were never fullfilled and eventually became 2013 orders. If the rumors are true that there is a completely new model for 2014, they could stop even earlier, especially with the long delays still being experienced. I wouldn't wait too long to order if you have your heart set on a 2013...

If the spy photo's are true for the 14 models I don't like the styling that much but the engine and 6spd over the 5spd is what would really make me buy the car, along with a lighter curb weight. Still the wide body is nicer to look at IMO
