Default Install shops

What are some of the better shops around the Phoenix area that will install an aftermarket longblock?

Goodspeed and Dynocomp will do it and both shops have been around for a while. There are other shops around town but I can't personally vouch for that level of engine work with any of them. Of course you will not have any kind of warranty from a shop with an engine they didn't build, just a heads up.

Providing the longblock yourself? Or looking to purchase + install?

Call Snail Performance AZ / RAworx. Snail @ 623-518-3462 and RAworx @ 754-800-9679

Both are SWIC OGs.

Goodspeed no longer installs supplied blocks. I'll have to call Dynocomp.

They're in the same building, Taylor offering Parts Sales + Tuning, and Installs / Maintenance through Rich in the shop.

Nobody around these parts builds a sensibly powered custom blocked DD and
safely drives it around for one hundred thousand miles to then come back here and talk about it. It's all ringland this... spun bearing that - OMG the police!

+1 Recommendation for RAworx and Snail Performance

Old body, new parts - I had a refurb'd turbo, power steering upgrade, suspension parts, exhaust, steering wheel install and then some done by Rich, afterwards was tuned by Taylor. A year plus later, everything is rock solid and performing well. Accommodating to work with, all around.

Exclamation Need some help like immediately

I would have started a new thread but I need 3 posts for that. First, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Chris. And I drive a 2006 Subaru Legacy GT. Has a new STI shortblock with my rebuilt LGT heads, upgraded Turbo, intercooler, intake, exhaust. Injectors, E85. Tein Flex, JNC 18" wheels. A whole lot more modifications but I really don't have the time to post them all at this moment. It's making about 417 at the wheels according to Dynocomp and 391 pounds of torque. I'm currently in the middle of installing whitelines bump steer correction kit and I'm having a hell of a time. Is there anybody out there that wants to make some good money that could drive to 27th Ave union Hills To install the kit for me, my car is torn apart and I can't really put it back together In the step that I'm at plus I'd rather get it completed.I need it done asap and don't Want to tow it somewhere since a wheels off and I dont want to damage anything loading it on a flatbed.

Basically, is anybody free today ASAP that can install a Whiteline bump steer correction kit on a 06 Legacy GT? Name your price! I'm happy to pay very nicely for your time if you know what your doing! Please somebody help me out 'cause I don't know what to do at this moment. And I really need my car in working condition.

Give me a call or text at 602.326.0452. Again my name is chris.

Thank you!!!

Also, if you're aware of any mobile mechanics that are free today And more importantly, knowledgeable of Subaru's that can get this installed ASAP. I would appreciate that as well.

Default Need a clutch installed

So I finished up with the whiteline bump steer correction kit. Now I need a new clutch installed. If Dynocomp doesn't warranty the clutch I will need to have a new one installed elsewhere for cheaper. I have an ACT Heavy Duty clutch and it is shot at 12,000 miles. It's starting to slip really badly in 3rd and 4th gear. I'm not sure on which clutch I'm gonna go with, but I will need someone to install it. Let me know if you want to make some money and know how to do it. I would greatly appreciate it. Also, are there any recommendations for a good clutch I should look into? Or should I stay with the same one I have now. I haven't dumped the clutch one single time. I drive my car very carefully so the fact that I'm needing a new clutch already doesn't make sense.

Does anybody know of any shops that have a clutch and flywheel setup capable of handling 400 ft/lbs (will eventually be much more) that is in stock. I have an ACT heavy duty and lightweight flywheel currently that is slipping like hell right now. I have about 1-2 days at most of being able to move my car anywhere. So I’d like to get something installed Monday if anybody knows of a shop with something in stock for a 2006 legacy gt.

602-326-0452 is my number and my names Chris. If you are a shop with a clutch/flywheel setup in stock capable of handling my current 400 ft/lbs please give me a call. Thank you!

Has anyone responded to your questions that you have?? In time frame you needed???

There are no local shops that use this platform anymore.

And I gave you 2 shops that I personally know and send business to for the last 15years.

And I added a extra shop contact that I also recommend.

If you are looking for answers contact these shops!

Thank you. I did give them a call but as I expected nobody had one on stock. So dynocomp ordered an ACT xtreme and streetlight flywheel. so I hope that will last a little longer. I'm surprised the heavy duty wouldbt hold up to 390 ft/lbs. But I got a rental car so I'm not tripping as bad on getting it done right now. I can wait a few more days. Really sucks driving a versa though. Lol. I appreciate the phone numbers and I'm sure I will still use them in the future for some installs.
