Here is the WRX ready for SNOW! It just drove through the great lakes snow belt today. Unfortunately I left for home prior to the salt/plow trucks going out. 2-4 inches of white stuff all down I90 in NY through Bridgeville exit off I79 in PA.
I saw 6 total accidents caused by the snow today from start to finish (189miles). I don't care what anyone says the Nokian RSI's are the best snow and ice tire PERIOD and I will never use anything else! Have fun and be safe everyone. Photos were taken with a Canon 30d w/15mm Fisheye @ F/2.8 |

well, kind of...
I got a flat in my summer setup and needed to mount a set of wheels so I could go get it fixed. I had my track set up or my winter set up to choose from. Since its rainly like balls out in Seattle right now, I opted to not put on the dry track tires and went for the blizzaks. Now I just need to decide whether I should just keep them on for the remainder of the winter or swap my summers back on until it drops about 5-10 more degrees (already 40-50F during the day, 40F at night). |
